Excellent! The temperature inside the jars stays exactly as I set the controls.
I started using these yesterday for a new batch of Kombucha -- Two 1-gallon jars. They work perfectly!! They are a little longer than most of the heat wraps I've seen, so they easily wrap all the way around the jars. The velcro is very strong. The controls keep the brewing kombucha at the exact temperature I've set. I test it with an infrared thermometer. The controls were pretty easy to figure out even though the instructions were vague and not very helpful. The controls only allow for setting the timer up to 24 hours. I couldn't find any instructions for keeping it on until I turn it off, so I just didn't set a time limit. That allows it to stay on continuously. It only kicks in to heat when the temperature drops below your set temperature. I don't know how long these will last, but if it holds up, I'll be happy. If I had a woodburning stove, I could keep the jars near, wrapped in a blanket, and they'd be fine for brewing kombucha. But without that now, these heat wraps are wonderful!

Harder plastic then I would have hoped for, but works as needed.
I wish the part you put around the jar was a bit more flexible. The plastic is a bit hard so it does not wrap easily and I use another piece of ribbon to tighten it up. It does do what is suppose to do, it helps my Sourdough dough rise faster, I use it a lot!

Ups my brewing game - higher temperature fermentations now possible
I brew small scale (<2 gallon) test batches of beer. I've successfully used a simple kombucha heating wrap that only had High, Medium and Low settings for a couple of years (while not an accurate temperature control, it proved good enough for what I needed). Wanting to brew with kveik yeast as well as start kettle souring, I bought this heating wrap to maintain fermentation temperature at 100F. I tested this wrap on my 2 gallon fermentation bucket filled with water with the thermocouple taped to the outside of the bucket in an area that was not covered by the heating wrap. Setting the temperature was not difficult, but the instructional sheet is not overly helpful in this regard. However, I am familiar with other brewing temperature controls so figuring this out was not difficult. Once set, this wrap did a great job heating the fermentation bucket to the desired temperature (100F), which I confirmed by measuring the temperature of the water in the center of the fermenter using a thermometer. For my fermentation bucket, I had a 3 degree Fahrenheit differential between the temperature of the water in the center of the fermenter (which was 3 degrees warmer) and the temperature the thermocouple sensed. All I had to do was adjust the controller to 97F and it successfully maintained the temperature of the water in the center of the fermenter at 100F. I have since successfully brewed 2 batches of beer with kveik yeast. This heating wrap has obsoleted my old one and upped my brewing game!

Waste of my money - burned scoby
This is a two pack. The first one worked for a few months and then stopped. I thought this was due to a nearby lightning strike, but nothing else in my house was messed up. It simply no longer heated up. The second one seemed to work good, however just checking my kombucha today I see that my jar is extremely hot and my kombucha is completely burned up! My very healthy and well fed scoby is completely burnt. After 13 years of kombucha making, I have never seen anything like this. I unplugged the heating pad and tested it. It was 100.9 deg. I had it set at 75 deg. And yes, the temp sensor was correctly in place.

Love this jar!!!
Love this jar!!! Does not leak, solid nozzle. My kombucha is thriving! The heating pad I purchased fits around it perfectly. The 2 gallon size works great for my needs. Highly recommend this jar.

Keeps the kombucha brew at the optimum temperature!
I just got into brewing Kombucha, and realized I chose a bad time to start trying to brew. It's too cold right now in my house, and I initially tried just wrapping my brew in a towel... but I hadto keep unwrapping it to check the temperature. With this heating wrap, I can adjust the heat on the fly, and the LED tells me quickly and easily what the temperature is. Definitely made my brewing life easier!

Keeps our Booch Baby Warm and Cozy
We use this for our one gallon kombucha batch brew. It works as advertised and keeps our kombucha warm, happy and tasting oh so fine! From what I can tell there is no temperature differential setting so once it drops any fraction of an amount below the set temp it will trigger it to turn on/heat. So I do notice it turning on and off quite often, but haven’t seen a noticeable change in my electric bill so no sweat off my back. I had bought a more expensive one (prior to finding this one) that does the same thing, but it seems to have a 2 degree differential so it turns on less often, and it isn’t as easy to install or read. This one however takes the cake! It’s SUPER easy to install, use and see the current temperature. I will also note it would easily fit around our 2.5 gallon continuous brew as well.
