Perfect solution to my problem. I needed a way to anchor lightweight centerpieces to metal patio tables for an outdoor wedding reception. Wind might have been a problem, but I attached strips on the bottoms of each arrangement and they really were set well and would have withstood a strong breeze. I bought another brand of this product first at a local hardware. Almost no magnetic strength. But this 3M product was far superior. Pic shows that they actually stick to the face of my dishwasher

This works for what I ordered it for which was keeping a cabinet door shut. It's easy to get the door open but it holds it shut quite well. It's a decently strong magnet and easy to clean so I would recommend it.

I bought this to mount a small plastic pocket onto a filing cabinet, and to put a few of those tiny remotes into. The kind of remotes that are about 3 x 1.5 inches and about 1/4 inch thick that come with every small electronic device from space heaters to ceiling fans these days.I used three square inches (two three inch strips.) I noticed the tape was a little bit bendy (holding the shape of the roll) so I put the pocket and its adhered magnet into a small plastic clamp for about a day. I then put the pocket onto the file cabinet, put the remotes in, and went about my day. The entire load was 5 ounces, including the pocket containing the remotes.Two days later, the pocket was on the floor when I came home from work. The magnets held but the adhesive did not. The adhesive is basically just double sided cellophane tape and apparently will not hold on ABS plastic.I guess I'll just use VHB tape.

Does adhere well to the surfaces identifed on the packing. Perhaps not as well in every application as I might have hoped. That said I was using it for some unique applications so took a chance.

I purchased to utilize hanging my grill tools on the strip. Sadly the glue didn't stay on the griddle. The weight of spatulas was too much.

I ordered this product to use on my watercolor paint boards. So far I've only used it on my little half pans that ago into pallets. The tape does cut easily as stated in the product review. It sticks great. I'm glad I found another use for it.

I love that it comes with a measuring tape and you get a lot. It's surprisingly very thick as well. I took off one star because it's not that strong. It can only hold up one picture max or a couple pieces of paper for about a half inch long piece of magnet.Edit: all the stuff that i used for the magnet came off. The tape is not strong at all. At first it seems strong, but after a few days I kept seeing all of my charms fall off the magnet. I don't recommend this at all.

Love this magnet tape! I used it to turn pins from a recent trip into magnets for the fridge! It’s worth every penny and is super easy to install! Would recommend to any and everyone!
