Excellent Accessory For The Nikon Zf
I love the Nikon Zf in almost every way, but every reviewer commented on the need for an auxilliary grip to improve the ergonomics with longer lenses. I actually bought this grip before I bought the camera. It came with a soft release button and a replacement cover for the hot shoe. As soon as I got my camera home from the shop I fitted all three. The grip screwed into the tripod socket and locked securely. The shoutter button was less of a success, and fell off somewhere in France not long after it was fitted. The hot shoe cover looks great. The grip does make the camera really comfortable to use and has a protrusion at the rear which the thumb rests on naturally. Very happy with this purchase.

A Purchase That I Immediately Fell In Love With
I recently purchased a Nikon Zf and, like many, love the retro style but struggled with holding the camera, especially when using longer or heavier lenses.Opening the package from Neewer I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to see not only the grip, but also a soft release button for the shutter. The grip itself feels very well made and adds only a little extra bulk to the camera. There is a cutout for the battery/card door and it doesn't impede changing the battery or sd card at all.The depth of the grip feels just about right for the size of the camera and the thumb rest at the back of the grip is an excellent addition and adds to the overall comfort and handling. I used this camera extensively on a recent trip to Egypt where I only took 3 lenses - a 20mm prime, 40mm prime (both close to pancake lenses) and a 70-180 zoom. The latter is a relatively large lens and the Neewer grip ensured that the camera and lens combo always felt balanced and offered me good camera control. I also tested at home the Nikon 180-500mm zoom but wouldn't want to use that for extended periods on this camera, grip or not.Overall one of the best photography-related purchases I have made. Looks great, well built and properly finishes off my Zf.

Best option for the Zf by far
This model number CA079 is an updated version of the CA063, improving the grip and look. It really is a very well made grip and completes the retro look of the Zf really well. There is even a felt surface on the inside of the front section so it's never going to rub or mark the body on application. This type of attention to detail gets bonus points for me. It's now replaced the Smallrig version that I've been using with its weird sticky feeling front grip - this Neewer version is a bit slicker but absolutely does not jar the aesthetics of the Zf that Nikon intended. A top choice, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Nikon Zf grip
I switched from Fuji X to the Nikon ZF six weeks ago and got the Smallrig grip to with the camera. This Neewer 079 grip is much better. Firstly it looks better, and fits with the aesthetic of the camera. Unlike the Smallrig it wraps around to the back of the camera. Most importantly unlike the Smallrig, it has a thumb rest, which makes holding the camera much easier. Also the front part of the grip is good for holding onto. The aluminum construction is good for the price. Nikon's own grip is better.I would give this grip 4.5. My only slight wish is that the textured grip material was not so smooth, but the thumb grip stops this from being an issue.Overall a really good grip, and I won't be using the Smallrig one.

Effective and attractive grip
High quality grip, perfect and secure fit to Zf body and looks brilliant. Red stripe echoes F series Nikons. Recommended.

Very comfortable and useful.
Overall this is great. The most comfortable grip I've used so far. You get a nice hot shoe cover with it and a soft shutter release button, but the button's thread is too small for the Zf, which I thought was very odd since this is specifically designed for the Zf. I don't use those soft shutter buttons anyway, so it doesn't bother me too much.
