Take extreme heat very well easy to install

Good heat shielding. Be prepared for the first use.
I haven’t had this long enough to know how it will hold up. But it does a good job of heat shielding. However, the first time I used it and it got hot, it let off a ton of very harsh fumes. Once all of that burned off, it has worked fine.

Don’t stick your finger in and expect to not get burnt
So I didn’t actually put my finger in. I tried to insulate an exhaust pipe. It didn’t prevent heat transfer as I’d have hoped and it smoked a crazy acrid smoke the first time I cooked it.
