Turned out to be a great guitar

quality is going down hill fast tried 2 of these 1st sound was horrible 2nd i think was used frets were real rough and it had locking tuners on it and i don't think it was made with locking tuners how ever the very 1st one i got last year was perfect i'll try 1 more

This guitar's description specifically states it has P-90 pickups, but the one I got has humbucker-style pickups, and they are not the same sound. It's a nice enough guitar, but I was NOT sent the configuration I selected and paid for. After looking at other IYV listings, I see that they are consistently listed with the wrong pickup configuration for their guitars. Beware.

IYV quality can be sad, bad or ooo wow. This one was better than average in fit and finish. It did have a volume pot that would not turn off and .047 capacitor. Tsk, tsk IYV! I almost expect that level of problems setup and normal items like frets were good. I swapped out both the .10 size pots for good quality full size metrics. Fully functioning pots are preferred!I added a JST connector, so I could change the capacitor value with a plugin. My normal selection is a .022, but I found a .033 seemed to be just a bit better for my ears on this guitar. I did polish the frets and oil the fretboard, which helps as well. The factory strings were fresher and better than what comes on most imports but were replaced as well. It's now a sweet low-cost guitar. If you buy in this price range you will, need to do some of this or that who ever makes it.
