Exceptional quality, content as expected, worth treating yourself!
I absolutely adore everything Papier. Everything from this company is such quality and writing in or on their products feels like such an occasion.Pages: the paper is thick, off-white, and beautifully smooth. I have honestly never felt such smooth paper in a notebook or journal and it’s why I love this company so much. The paper takes most media easily and there’s no ink bleed through.Cover: this cover is hardback with a smooth finish and a very simple design, as shown.Contents: This wellness journal has a few helpful pages of some helpful things, and a space at the beginning to evaluate where you are in your life. You can start and end each day by filling this out and it’s a really good way to keep yourself grounded and focussed, and to notice patterns in your life. It’s also a good way to hold yourself accountable. I love that it is undated so you can start whenever you want, but it does put the weekend days onto one page, which I found a bit annoying… I do stuff and have thoughts and things on the weekends too! Other than that, it’s exactly as described. If you look on their website you can see previews of pretty much every page I think. It covers a… 3 month? (I think it was 12 weeks but it’s been a while since I filled it out) period.Price point: Most guided journals cover the same timeframe and cost around this amount. The quality of the paper in this one really sets it apart though and you really do get the quality you pay for.Overall: There are guided wellness journals that have a lot more content - by that I mean they have other sections that cover for example long-term planning and other life areas, but that can get really really overwhelming. Its only 3 months, so well worth trying and if it works for you then you’ve got a solid foundation and can stick with this format or get a bullet journal or notebook and just repeat what you’ve been doing without buying again. But it’s nice to treat yourself and this is such high quality it really does feel like a treat. If you’re buying a wellness journal you are obviously looking out for yourself (or whoever you’re buying it for) so go on! Treat yourself (or someone else)! I really recommend. If. Nothing else it’ll be good to look back through at some stage and it’s a really nice way to be able to get into or condense your journalling, and focus on YOU.

Nice journal for mini reflections
A nice journal with useful prompts for morning & evening. I like the sleep prompt as well - as an insomniac it's good to be aware! This is great if you're looking to spend only a few minutes in the morning & evening. If you are looking for more in-depth space then you may want a different guided journal. It's a 3 month journal which is great as it means the book isn't too heavy.Would have preferred a softer cover - linen or something, but other than that I like it!

Brilliant
This journal is great for mindfulness and helping to relieve stress.I use this every single night before I go to bed. Easy, clear instructions on each page that help you clear your mind and write down everything that you don’t need to hang on to.Great quality paper and love the idea

Beautiful journal for setting and logging progress against goals
This is a lovely journal for logging goals, progress and positive motivation. It's a nice practice to get into - very self-affirming and keeps you on track with wellness goals. It's very nicely presented and would make a lovely gift.

Room for improvement
I’m on the fence about this journal, mainly because I would expect more for the price. First off, it’s almost white, not beige, but I definitely prefer that. Plus, the spine is blank, so if you put it on your bookshelf, it should go unnoticed by any nosey person who might want to flick through. So, from the cover, it looks good.Unfortunately, inside the paper thickness is a bit low, so you can see through to the next page. It needs to be a higher gsm. My journal also had an odd red red dot on one page and some of the printing fades away on another. I’m not a fan of the dotted lines used on most pages. I guess it’s to make things look different, but I’d much rather have straight lines, or even a blank space, to write in. The dots are fussy on your eyes and make what you’ve written look confusing. The journal is A5 size, and I think I would like it to be a little bigger - in some sections if feels a bit fiddly, and I’m running out of space to write. I’d also like more variety of prompts. Most of the pages are like the double page spread I’ve photographed, but randomly throughout the journal, there are a few different pages. I would have liked those pages to have been grouped together, otherwise you have to leaf through the journal to find them again. If this journal was half the price I could forgive most of these faults, but for nearly thirty pounds, I’d would expect better quality and a better layout.

Feels nice, but I don't like having to fight with it to stay open while I write.
I was in the print/design trade for a couple of decades...the paper is good quality, in fact it feels so nice I don't want to write on it!The layout of the double page spread is very well thought out, exactly as I would design it.Handling the book is awkward, there is no give in the spine - you are fighting with it trying to close on you while you are trying to write. To be a joy to write in, the spine needs to be flexible and have the ability to open flat. So although this looks and feels good, it's true function, to allow your mind to flow out onto the pages, is a failure. Such a shame. If it cost £10, I would forgive it, but at £29, they need to get the right materials to qualify the high price.
