Great office computer
Super fast office computer. My advice if you plan on buying longer monitor cables to accommodate a standing desk, beware of the brand. After one day, my monitors went black. Dell replaced the motherboard under warranty, but the problem persisted. The seller replaced the graphics card, but the problem persisted. So out of desperation I replaced the new cables with a different brand, and now everything works.

Powerful computer for the price
I bought this to replace a i7-9700 desktop in my recording studio. This is much more powerful for running my DAW and video software. It runs all 4 of my monitors with no issues. It came with no extra junk programs installed. Very nice for the price.

Beware what you get
This is a great PC for the money. As others pointed out it is an older model. Manufacture date on mine is May 2023. It appears to be a new PC. Probably overstock Dell moved out. it is a 12th Gen processor, but the 13th and 14th gens had issues, so I am good with this. Given it is about half the price of a current manufacture Dell with the same specs it is still a good deal. The big caveat. In the box there was a paper stating the on-board video had been disabled as it has the Nvidia Quadro 1200 video card in it. However, it would not boot with a monitor attached to the Nvidia card. I had to connect a monitor to the on board HDMI video for it to boot. Fortunatly the on board video was not, in fact, disabled. This computer will only boot in UEFI mode, and the Nvidia card needed a firmware update to be UEFI compatible. Took me a while to figure this out.Once I installed the Nvidia firmware update tool the firmware did update fine, and the computer now boots with a monitor connected to the Nvidia card. One other caveat is that if you aren't connecting to a monitor with a display port connector, and are using a display port to HDMI adapter, you will only get 30Hz refresh rate. It doesn't bother me, but other's may be. I'm using a 43" Samsung 4K QLED TV as my monitor and it is HDMI only. This is a great, and becoming very common, type of set up, so wanted to let people know.

Bought two, neither will start.
Bought two of the 64gb ram, 2tb ssd with quadro k1200 model, and neither one of them start. When plugged in, they get stuck in a quick boot loop and I can see that the LED on the power supply shuts off every 2 seconds. Suspecting the power supplies were inadequate, I removed the quadro cards and, ta-da, they started right up. I called Dell and, fortunately, was able to get support quickly and easily with the service tags, but they stated the cards were not factory installed and were not on their compatibility list. I have reached out to the Amazon seller and will update if I get a response, but I'd advise staying away for now.

Dell Warranty was expired
The computer works well so far, but when I registered it with Dell the warranty was expired. It was to be a brand new computer and the warranty was expired. Very disappointed.

FYI, Sharing ...
Discovered this tower PC is not a brand new model. Vostro is no longer built by Dell. The processor is a 12th generation vs today's 14th generation. The 12th generation was installed in machines in 2022. The description should say it is a new 2022 machine never used or state if it is refurbished. To be sure of the exact date you would have to know the service tag number & plug that into Dell dot com.
