Lambs & IvyLamp with Shade and Bulb, Yoo-Hoo

The lamp is cute. The reason for my handcrafted title is that the paint was a little uneven and scratched off in spots. Didn't have the look of something mass produced in which each one is perfect. So if you like that handcrafted look, it's perfect! For the wife and I - it just wasn't worth the hassle of returning it vs wanting the nursery to just be finished. Other than that it works well.We put a CFL in there - it says not to go above 15W even though it's rated for 60W for a regular bulb. I looked it up and I don't know if this is Internet fear-mongering or true, but it has to do with lumen output and heat. Since a 15W CFL bulb is just as bright as a 60W incandescent, they're putting out the same heat. In a non-enclosed socket - it shouldn't matter. You should be able to put any W CFL up to the wattage that matches the incandescent rating. However, with an enclosed socket (like a lamp), you risk fire - or so the theory goes. Since insurance companies look for any reason not to pay out, we decided not to mess with that and stuck with 15W.

had this in the nursery for all three of my kids and still love it. it works great!

Absolutely adorable! Love it, only reason I gave it 4 stars because of the price tag, it's a little pricey.

The lamp is perfect except for the sticker that was on the upper side of the base. I took it off and the area is extremely sticky.

It comes just as pictured. Very nice. On arrival, the lamp shade has two small indents that I can't seem push back out, but it's nothing worth returning it over.

This lamp is very cute. The base is rather heavy and the stem very quickly became loose so that the bulb and shade teetered back and forth. We still used it for a while but I was disappointed in quality.

Cute. Functional. Not sure it was supposed to appear as rustic/rough as it arrived looking.
