My COVID home project was converting my Honda Element into a mini van camper. I've gone through several trial and error steps in creating a screening system that works specifically for the Element. This screen is one of the best out of the box screen options I've found.First of all, the information on the amazon listing is a bit weird. I've never needed my gear to be protected by a screen in the trunk of my car when I'm camping in a tent. I can't think of a single reason why anyone would want to use it like that. However, I can think of a lot of times when you'd need it car camping in good weather.Many screening systems just aren't a good size for the hatch of an element or a larger SUV. This screen is perfect for those cars. The magnets are strong enough to attach to the roof or upper trim. The velcro is perfectly located to go around the shock arms. The center zipper is a bit weird - the bottom stops because the zipper curves around the bottom edge, but it works fine.The screen fabric is sturdy enough but also very flexible so it can work in several different configurations. It keeps out mosquitos quite well.My only complaint is that the sides only have magnets at the top and bottom. It would work a bit better with a few extra magnets in the side - which I plan to add to mine. Overall, I'm very pleased with this screen system.

Got this before going camping at the beach, hoping it would keep out mosquitoes and other bugs. It exceeded my expectations! It has spent the last two months beach camping, mountain camping, picnic duty, and simple sunset watching protection duty,It is very easy to set up by one person but two is easier, especially when on an SUV. The magnets are strong and hold it perfectly at the roof but not so strong as to be an issue when pulling off. The velcro that snugs the screen around the hatch hinges are a nice touch and easy to manipulate. We added some additional magnets to the sides (duct tape solves all problems) to ensure a continuous tight line along the sides. The zipper is sturdy and has not snagged or stuck despite LOTS of use.It folds up nicely and stores in the included storage bag, which is handy! We've not had it get dirty so can't say much about how easily it cleans or not. It does keep out a light rain and dried off very quickly.Best part - it does keep out all the bugs! We are "happy campers"!!

I got this bug net to use for multiple reasons. I was hoping to take the kids to a drive-in movie this summer and have us lay in the back of our SUV to watch the movie. We could've had the back door or window open and used this net to keep the mosquitoes out. Unfortunately, we never found time to go to the drive-in. I, also, got this to use for car camping but we never ended up staying in the car. I did, however, install this at home just to see how well it fit. It fit good and I'm pretty confident that it would work great for all the reasons that I wanted it.
