Not for beginners. Lots of fine paper parts to cut out and glue
Just starting this kit. Instructions are very different from other kits like this. Hard to tell exactly where detail parts go. Contains a lot of printed parts on normal weight paper that need to be cut out with precision. So far it’s enjoyable but challenging

Not for the impatient.
This model is very complicated and intense. The instructions for the assembly portion leave a lot to be desired. I've done many 3D puzzles, but these little houses are the most complex. This model is NOT for a beginner or anybody that may think this would be '"Easy." It took me a week to assemble all the little furniture, pieces and lastly, the assembly. Every piece in this model is glued. It's not a simple stick together piece. Anyway, I'm an experienced modeler, and this model was just a unique experience for me. Most of it was fiddley work and pretty easy, but some of it was very tricky and took some thought as to how to assemble this. The eleven LED lights really make this model. There is a light in every room and shows up some of the hours of detail put into itThis model took me about 36 hours to build, but, in a nutshell, it was a very good and pleasurable build. Enjoy the pictures!

Fun to make, but not an easy one for beginners
I enjoyed making this kit but wasn’t really pleased with the overall outcome. A couple of the rooms are pretty much hidden and there is too much stuff stuck in the front. I know I didn’t have to add it all but I buy kits when my brain is too tired to think about being creative!Things to Know1. It is advertised as a 1:24 scale. I have done many kits in the 1:24 scale and this is a much smaller 1:36 or 1:48 scale. Which I don’t mind, but just be aware.2. Get a good sharp scoring knife! The wood pieces have to be cut out and they are very fragile. A sharp knife will be your best tool!3. Others complained that glue didn’t come with the kit. Most glue is combustible and cannot be shipped internationally. The glue that does come with kits isn’t very good. Get some Aileene’s Fast Grab Tacky Glue and some E6000. I also find the glue dots handing for lighting.4. I also read some complaints that the lights didn’t work. There are a lot of them, but make sure you test each one before setting it in place. Mine all worked, thankfully! That’s my least favorite part!Instructions were pretty easy to follow until the assembly. It was a little hard to see the details and some parts just weren’t very clear. Had I not made a lot of these I might have been lost.If I had this kit to do over, I would definitely do a lot of customization. It would be a great haunted house!

Missing pieces. Can't build.
Missing pieces. The 5 yellow arrows. Those walls didn't come with it. So I can't build it. This picture is from a girl on youtube that I found when I was building because I didn't see how I could continue.

Fun but didn’t work
I really liked this set, it’s different than any of the other sets I’ve built, it was high quality and had some really cool pieces. Instructions were easy to follow, had all the pieces plus some to share and is a really good size. The biggest disappointment was when I finished, the lights did not work, I am not new to this and have built several sets so I know I wired everything correctly, but tried different things to get the lights to work and nothing. Really sad about this as I spent hours each day for the past 6 days building this.

A Fun Project
My wife bought this for me for Xmas. Took me about a month to finish, working a couple hours every other day. I wasn't sent glue but all other parts were given. Great to do while listening to an audio book. Would buy another version and do again.
