A cheap and easy way to stop pigeons landing on our pergola.
Pigeons were spoiling the ambience of our patio. We attached these to the top of our pergola to prevent them from landing there and causing a mess below. The strips were easy to fix and did the job. They are unobtrusive so do not spoil the look of the pergola. I would definitely recommend this product.

Good product
Good product. Very easy to use and install. I live in a flat which has a glass dividing my balcony from my neighbour. They didn’t seem too bothered by the pigeons that soiled their balcony or sat on the divider which made a complete mess. I did mind and didn’t want them using the divider as a perch. This product did the trick of not letting them stand or sit on the divider

Bird Deterrent
I am using these spikes to keep rooks off my windowsills as they were pecking into the wooden window frames and pecking the glass. They are an excellent product, but I wish I had ordered the clear ones. I remember noticing that they came in different colours when I googled them, but I don’t remember seeing anywhere on the order form where I could state the colour I wanted - perhaps I just missed it. I was sent the dark brown spikes but I would have liked the clear ones. Fast efficient service and helpful not to be charged postage.

Easy to cut and install, didn't work
Easy to cut to size and screw in place on a wooden archway. However the pigeons didn't mind them, even when I put 2 staggered rows of spikes they still sat on them! Had to get 8cm long metal spikes.

Brilliant to stop bird poo!!!!!
These are amazing! I’m not really one to write reviews but I just had to! I’ve been in my house for 2 years and we cut down a big bush which was against a fence and my neighbour has a feeder the other side of the fence, I’m all for feeding wild birds but the poo that was on my fence looked horrendous and it was constant, constant birds and pigeons sat there pooing and I hated looking at it. Brought these as I thought worth a try for the cost! It is amazing, I have a normal fence so had to put a bit of wood to support them up to the fence but they have stopped the birds sitting on the fence. Yes you get a couple of risky birds but 99%of the birds have stopped!! My fence is poo free! Amazing job it’s done :) really recommend them!

Not sharp enough to serve the purpose
The media could not be loaded. I had bought these spikes hoping to make it difficult for the birds to sit on the railings of my balcony, as the other ones in the market were too sharp and long , that might kill the birds that fall on it. But these aren't sharp enough to be a deterrent. Did not serve the purpose.

Win some, lose some
I bought these to sit on top of my recently erected pergola to try to deter pigeons. I thought the plastic spikes would be kinder than metal ones, as I didn't want to risk injuring any birds. I secured them with plastic cable ties, so they sit very firmly (though I notice the struts do kink up slightly during the day, presumably because of the heat, though they then settle flat again afterwards). For the most part, they do deter pigeons, though not 100% (some pigeons are real dare-devils). However the parakeets (which appear in great numbers around here) seem to love them. They manage to perch and play on them very easily, playing their various weird games. Ah well, can't win 'em all, and I'm glad I used them. The next-door-neighbour's cat hasn't tried to climb up there, and the parakeets are quite entertaining after all.
