I bought this phone for my dad (in his 70s) to use and I can't fault it! He's not great with technology and I thought a simplified big buttoned touch screen would be great. The buttons are simple and clear - he needed little to no help in understanding how to use it. We've tried it out with texts and calls and he has no issues at all!I also very greatful for the built in SOS calls! Luckily we've not had to use it for real but we've done some practices. It sets off and gives a countdown so if it's an accident he can stop it. If it's not cancelled it comes through to my phone immediately and I can help however I'm required too.The build of the phone is strong and sturdy. The magnetic charging cable makes fiddly charging effortless and I know he can keep it charged easily instead of maybe not pushing the cable all the way in. And the very loud speaker on the phone is perfect (he wears hearing aids) he has no problems with hearing the ring tone or what I'm saying on the other end of the phone. The battery lasts for ages and it's not so small it gets lost but not so big it's in the way.As I said I can't fault this phone it's absolutely perfect - simple and easy to use and the SOS alarm gives me some peace of mind! Best £150 I've spent in a long time! Would 100% reccomend to anyone!

As mentioned above very good phone came promptly and good packaging I would recommend for elderly or person wanting a simple phone with internet capabilities battery goes down quite quickly unless you keep to minimum apps

I have tried other 'senior' mobiles - intended to have big buttons and be 'simple'. They were all rather poor in performance in a variety of ways, and certainly not particularly good for people uncomfortable with tech.This phone is excellent in presenting a really simple interface to make calls and handle messages.AT LAST !!!!It is Android based, so solid performance, and genuinely good reception.It might need somebody to set things up - but from then is is brilliant.The price is maybe a little high, but on balance probably worth it.I am very pleased with this. "This is the way!"

It was not a good purchase….the phone arrived in a timely manner but was locked to the UK and was unable to be unlocked in Australia, therefore unusable. I packaged up the phone to return it with all the requirements that needed to be met only to learn after a couple of weeks that Australia Post had returned it to my local post office as they would not allow the phones battery to be within the parcel. Where to now ….unsure!!!

Bought another one, liked it so much. Only thing I don't like is size of texting and you can't make it any bigger, not as big as I want.

All as described. Easy to set up for a techniphob who can now get it right 90% of time first time. Good quality easy to understand. Its like using a small mobile from 20years ago,only in the form of a smart phone.

I bought this new smartphone for my uncle, who had previously avoided changing from his familiar basic folding phone to a proper smart phone. He can now send and receive photos and messages with his children and grandchildren and can easily be an active part of their daily lives, which he loves. The simple push button selection for each use is easy for calls, pics, messages and now we have WhatsApp video calls too. The phone charges on the supplied stand so when he’s not using it there are no fiddly cables to insert for his not-so-nimble hands. So easy to set up as well - just add any SIM card and it’s done. Very happy! Thank you.

fab phone for elderly easy to use...one week in and it refuses to recharge...very disappointing
