Very Light Weight
The embossed texture on the top allows you a good hand hold. I purchased this set for my elderly parents. The extremely poor quality chinese made garbage contstantly chipped and is very heavy. These American made plates are light weight and have a pearly white finish. My parents made the immediate comment on how light they are. I appreciate the American Worker. Stop buying chinese made garbage. I seek out American made products for a long time now. I may spend a little more, but, I know they are well made and will not fill our landfills like the chinese made garbage.
