Q: Will these damage the felt of the boot material?

It hasn't on my car. Stays in place and needs a strong pull to move it so great for keeping things in place. I have moved mine many times and no damage to the felt in the boot.

Q: Would this be suitable to stop a spare wheel moving around in the boot of a car?

It works perfectly for hold heavy shopping bags and other items from moving around but it needs the felt surface of a boot to gets its grip. If the tyre is on the felt surface I think it would do the trick as it's got a fairly strong grip. Hope this helps.

Q: Does this work on a pvc lining as well as carpet?
