This round wall vent cap was exactly what I needed to finish my resin 3D printer exhaust setup. After drilling through the wall and running the ducting, this cap fit perfectly over the exit and gave it a clean, professional look. The finish is nice, it seated well, and installation was quick. It does its job without calling attention to itself — just a solid, no-fuss solution.

Honestly I didn't think they would be so big (but that's my fault). They are perfect for my sauna. Love the build quality, and look of them on the outside.

This replaces one of those crummy plastic vent outlets with the flappers that constantly break.The "blades" in the vent prevent larger critters from entering (like birds trying to build a nest), and the screen keeps out smaller critters (like wasps). The screen wouldn't stop mosquitos, but they're not likely to come in this way anyway, and in most cases they couldn't get into the house proper.The only bad thing I can say about this cover is that it has a lot of sharp metal edges. The seller includes some cotton gloves, but I wish they had filed off the edges a bit better, especially the inner edges of the bell (the edges of the vanes are also sharp, but you're less likely to accidently grab them, and the outer edge of the entire vent cover is rounded off).That said, if you're replacing an existing vent cover (which you probably are, unless you're a builder), you need to check the hole that this goes into. It won't cover much, so if you have a square hole for the old vent cover (as I did), you'll need to do something imaginative. I used a ceiling medallion (my first picture). These are usually used to hide holes in ceilings that a light fixture goes into, but the can also be used in this situation. The medallion I used is 10 inches in diameter, and comes with a 4 inch hole. I used calk to hold it on to the vinyl siding and to prevent rain from leaking in. (If you don't need the medallion, you should still use calk on this vent cover to prevent leakage.)I also had to deal with the fact that my vinyl siding makes it so the provided screws don't work--they're not long enough. I instead used 3" #10 screws to reach the wood behind the siding (my second picture). I had to drill the holes in this vent cover slightly larger to accommodate those larger screws.I think the end result looks good (third picture), although it might have been better with a white vent cover.

Need a 3 inch end point for my direct vent boiler (not high efficiency). No part of this item measures 3 inches. Anywhere!!!
