Thin metal, nice look.
This is a very thin metal, which was damaged in shipment, but easily straightened out. They do protect the finish of the emblem with extra care, but the packaging did not prevent the plate from being bent when the USPS stuffed it into my mailbox. The plate looks exactly as pictured and does a great job of hiding the ugly plate holder that sits on the front of my car and blending nicely with the gray color.
