Out of date
The product I received was over a year past it's sell by date. It did not taste good and I had to throw it away. I would like a refund.

Ingredient list looked exceptional
I appreciated this brands choice of high quality and only necessary ingredients and was super excited to try this soup with my family. Sadly it arrived well past the use-by date and I just couldnât take a chance on expired poultry in a paper carton. I love that itâs a carton over aluminum, but that does change the rules about actual shelf life vs expiration dates.

Pretty good soup, butâŠ
The media could not be loaded. Review of: Olivia's Pantry - Chicken Noodle Soup - Ready to EatI love chicken noodle soup, for lunch, for dinner as a soup/salad combination or even âsouped upâ by adding extra pasta and extra veggies to main for a âone-potâ meal. So, I was eager to try the Oliviaâs Pantry version of chicken noodle soup to see how it stacked up against the brand-name cans of soup Iâve tried.First off, I do like the box packaging instead of the soup coming in a can. The box is easier to store and easier to carry around in a lunch kit (for example). And the âeasy openâ aspect of opening the box turned out to be more than easy to do.And, at 17ounces per box (2 servings per box), the price per serving is roughly equivalent to a name-brand can of soup which typically come in a 16/17/18 ounce can.The calorie and fat content are what I consider âgoodâ for canned/boxed soup, but the sodium content is a little highâŠas it always is for these kinds of soups. For me, the sodium isnât bad if Iâm sticking to one serving but I wouldnât want to down the whole box in one meal.As for taste, the taste and quality of the Oliviaâs Panty soup is every bit as decent as brand name soups. The soup has a good balance of noodles, chicken, veggies, spices and seasoning to bring about a âclassicâ chicken noodle dish that I enjoy. And, to my eye, the chicken pieces/chunks in this version of soup are somewhat larger and easier to find that other similar soups. From a taste perspective, this soup is good. The only downside was that, having bought a 6 pack, I was hoping this would last us a while. When I went to put the remaining boxes away, I noticed that the âbest byâ date on the boxes was a date from one month before the product arrived at my door. That time frame didnât affect the taste of the soup but it is a disappointment as I will want to use the remaining boxes of soup sooner than I might have wanted to if the âbest buyâ date was farther along.

Good Hearty Scoop but Watch the Dates
This soup arrived a couple of days before the use-by date. Since these were for review I do wonder if it was a misguided attempt to move the inventory instead of destroying them and regular customers might not experience the same issue. The soup itself is good. I really like that all the ingredients sound like food. The soup is hearty and has a really nice flavor. You can see the large chunks of carrot and the fresh spices.Overall happy with the "Olivia's Pantry - Chicken Noodle Soup - Ready to Eat | Shake Well & Heat and Serve | 120 Cal Per Serving, Good Source of Protein (9g Per Serving) - 6 Pack" with the exception of the use by date being so close.

Convenience and great flavor!
My overall impression of this chicken noodle soup is very good. First off, it just doesn't get any more convenient...other than from a restaurant. It says that you can tear the top off to open it, but I highly recommend using scissors. I, personally, would make a huge mess if I attempted to tear it. The soup is really good...with visible chunks of chicken, celery, carrots, onions, and herbs. It has rotini noodles rather than flat noodles. The serving size of each container is very generous. The best part is the absence of a tin can. The cardboard box is durable, lightweight, and easily transported. I would definitely purchase again.
