Fantastic piece of industrial design - far exceeds the price asked.
I use knives all day long as a traditional musical instrument maker. I must have dozens... and this is one of 2 Hultafors knives I have recently bought. I have had a Hultafors axe for 25 years, and the steel is second to none, so I was confident that despite their low cost, these would be very good knives. The sheath is perfection - simple, elegant and supremely functional... you can fit it to a belt without removing the belt first - or simply fasten it to a jacket button. The knife was supplied sharp, it holds an edge very well, but is simple to sharpen in the field... just face off the flats and add a secondary bevel with a couple of quick strokes and its ready for work again.IMO this is the most useful design and size of fixed blade knife. If you need a little more blade length, their Craftsman model or one of the Mora’s would also be a good choice. Both of these knives have excellent Santoprene grips which are secure wet, dry, cold - even with gloves on. Absolute bargain.

Perfect
Perfect for my purpose.Excellent grip and very sharp on arrival.Fits firmly into the scabbard in either direction, making it suitable for usleft-handed people. The narrow, non-flexing blade is slightly under 3 inches long and requires a regular thin coating of oil to protect the carbon steel from oxidation.Overall, it's a well produced, value for money tool.

Great knife let down by weird sheath
The knife is great, really easy to hold and use. Nice blade. But the method of attaching the sheath onto the belt is weird and awkward and puts me off buying another knife in their lineup. Mora attachment is far simpler.

Swedish Know-how
You would be forgiven for assuming that low price equated to low quality, but that simply is not the case with most Swedish blade manufacture and technology.I have understood for years that Swedish blades can be trusted and Hultafors is no exception. The blade on this particular knife is honed to a razor-sharp and durable edge which is maintained throughout some pretty tough whittling. This knife is specifically designed for doing those complex jobs in tighter spaces, hence the short length and super-narrowness of the blade.Caution: This is a razor-sharp tool. Please make sure to use the correct Personal Protective Equipment.

Bargain blade and can probably do as well as some of the more expensive knives possibly.
I like the comfortable handle I know I’m going to enjoy carving with it in camp. Also be great for feather sticks for fire starting factory edge seems real sharp. The only thing is the plastic sheath although great and solid feeling, holds knife securely seems a tad oversized for the size of the blade but the knife all round is good so the sheath seeming a little too big is probably trivial or maybe I’m being finicky.Great price bargain and really good knife I’ve yet to put it through its paces but hopefully it will hold an edge well and hone up ok when needed. Thanks 👍

Sharp.
Very sharp and easy to keep honed. I use mine for whittling and occasionally creating unintentional flesh wounds for me to practice my first aid on. Use with cut resistant gloves if you want to keep all your fingers.

OK at best
I bought 2 as I process meat not sharp when they arrived could see grind marks and starting to discolour/rust already so I now have 2 knifes that I can only use for dirty cuts
