Good product
Very good product for repairing an awning with an unravelling seam or tear. Tape is very very sticky and therefore it's a bit tricky to get it exactly where you want it, but once there, it's gonna stay in place.

Good stuff
My awning still cleans up like new after 18 years. A little tear has started at the top and a little reinforcement might get me a few more years. Sticks real well even through wind and rain. Once it contacts the awning it is on there, good stuff. It is transparent so the repair does not stand out.

Good produce for patching boat covers
Worked great on patching a boat and a jet ski cover that both had developed holes and rips. I found that putting the patching tape on both sides of the damage work best. Seems to be a very strong bond and hopefully will keep the tears from spreading.

Surviving 109 degree temperature
I used this product to patch a few tears in my RV cover and so far it is holding up extremely well. We had a stretch of 100+ degree temperatures and the patch is not comprised. One note on my install is I did place the patch on both sides of the tear for increased strength. Also, the product being clear it is hard to notice that it is there. I would buy this again if and when needed.

Good stuff. Temporary fix though.
This did works well. But if your visit is treating from degradation then it'll just tear somewhere else. It should buy a couple more seasons before having to replace it though! It's now the strongest point on the visor.

Super sticky
Had a small tear in my camper awning, slapped some of this stuff on both sides and seems to be holding up well so far. It has survived the unusually hot summer we had, will see how it fares through the winter.

Not Recommended for Permanently Exposed Parts
The awning on our 2013 camper was experiencing exposure damage to the top part next to the roof that is permanently exlosed to the elements. The tape went on easily enough and stuck well with our thorough cleaning. Two years later the tape is cracking and shredding due to the exposure. We knew the tape would only buy time before needing to replace the awning; however, we were hoping it would not require replacement this early. If your repair area is wrapped up in the awning fabric, you should be good. If it is exposed, it won't last longer than two years.

Took a little time to install. Works perfectly and blends in well.

Doesn't stay stuck. Garbage.
I purchased this product to repair a rip in my travel trailer awning. The previous owner had tried to use some type of tape but it didn't hold up over the years and it was time to get something fresh on there. The rip is about 10 inches long. I removed all traces of the previous tape and adhesive residue. Cleaned the area well with soap and water and then with alcohol. After letting it air-dry, it was time to apply this new tape. First, this stuff is a pain to cut. For $40, I'd like to see it have a proper backing so it can be measure and cut to size before removing the backing for application. We're not taping a box shut over here, we're repairing "awnings and sails". By the way - sails? Not a flippin' chance this stuff holds up to the wind a sail would experience! So, I get my piece cut with the help of an assistant and apply it to both the outside and underside of the awning (to make for a good seal and good coverage. I thoroughly applied pressure and worked the adhesive onto the awning for a few minutes and then left it out, unrolled, for several hours to cure before rolling it up. Almost immediately after applying the tape, the edges started rolling and peeling up. I smoothed them out and waited longer. Finally, I had to roll it up. After 6 days of camping, the edges are rolling up in a few places. This won't last the season. What a waste of time and money. Save yourself the hassle and look somewhere else for a product that actually works.

Good Holding Power
This held up very well. I had a substansial tear on my awning case and this held on very well while travelling down the highway.
