Bought this to go with the Knauf ProRoll lite I had to plaster skim my hall stairs and landing. Having watched plenty of YouTube videos I was surprised at the results. I've never done this before but it went exactly like the video and the result it gave was amazing.

Would recommend seller. Item arrived earlier than originally expected. Very happy

A bit small for what want

I feel you can't go wrong with rafina especially the fact the blades are replaceable, If you ever happen to be unlucky to dinck or bend it you can easily replace them.

I have used a OX speedskim on jobs but I find this to be a more comfortable grip and a good quality product

A bit expensive for a piece of plastic, but works well. As noted by others, the side covers seem a bit pointless, as they don't cover the side openings fully. The handle is very well designed and you can hold tight and keeps your thumbs away from the plaster.

So, I tried to add a video review of this item but, the site doesn’t seem to like itAnyway, the X-Skim does work and straight from the package but it is just too weakOn the first job, I tried to clean it and the side came off, whilst both end caps were in situAwful design, of the retainers. The caps don’t even cover the end housing of the rule.The roll bar it is ok to hold onto but still, not great. One would have to “teach” him/her self to use it, but this is no different to OXYes it is light and that’s where it stops.Maybe I had a bad batch or received a used one (tw) but I should have been told such thingAnyway, this’ has been returned to a cost, and I am looking at an alternative option
