I bought one, bought a second, and would buy a third if necessary. Big. Heavy. Chain. Squared hardened links prevent theft from everything but a grinder.

Great heavy-duty chain for motorcycle. Well thought out design with loop on one end allows for looping around a sturdy object such as a light pole. The other end has a larger oval link so that any other link can fit through for easy locking. Pair with a heavy duty ABUS combination lock. Keep in mind that a high speed portable cutting tool can still cut through a link however this is as good as it will get for a chain.

So far so good, using on the boat. But, the loop on the end is not quite long enough to easily fit though the gap in the lower unit of the outboard. It is round, but should be oval, in order to slip it through and get a padlock through it and the chain link. Really tough to do, especially in the dark, after going out for sunset. Anyone actually using it would know that, so I have to wonder who designed it?

This chain lock is very very heavy. It works for me because I have an ebike + rear rack & milk crate so I can just throw it in there. But I would not want to use this for any other bike, even for an ebike without carrying capacity. It's very intimidating, thick, and bulky. Could still be angle grinded so best to pair with a different chain lock or another U-lock.This chain would be best secured with a small U-lock or closed shackle lock. Do your math. Did not fit in my Squire CP50 so had to return that.

I use this chain mostly to secure bicycles to a car hitch rack when travelling and parking... (or when the bikes are parked off the rack). While it's not been tested by an attempted theft and virtually no product is a sure bet against an electric cutoff tool (ex. with enough time and dexterity... one could cut through my hitch!)... this when attached with a security lock to my frame mounted hitch seems a quite strong theft deterrent!

QUALITY OF CHAIN IS GOOD. MY ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT AMAZON SAYING THEY GAVE IT TO A JOE AND THE BUILDING NEXT DOOR WHERE IT WAS DELIVERED IS A CLOSED BUILDING

I have this on my carport chaining my bike down and it’s heavy duty and weighs a decent amount have to had any issues other then I wish it was a little longer but it works great easy to use and fits perfectly worth the money for me
