Gods of Metal: Ragnarock - Core Rulebook, Hardcover RPG Book, Full Color, Adventure As A Demigod, Fantasy Roleplaying

First, I love the concept. In my mind, this was in the same vein as Brütal Legend; I loved the idea of embracing heavy-metal mythology and building a ttrpg around it.The artwork in the book is cool; the cover is obviously fantastic; and it ends up being a neat book to have on my shelf.Unfortunately, the presentation and layout of information in the book is a little bit of a mess. How to actually play the game is scattered throughout the book. While that's not uncommon for a ttrpg book, I found that the choice of where to place things in this book lead to an unintuitive process of learning to play the game.I am also somewhat disappointed that the book does not lean far enough into metal mythology and legendary figures of rock. There are a few nods here and there, but I expected more.The book looks great, and I suspect there may be a fun game scattered throughout the pieces of the book -but figuring out how to actually play the game will have a higher than expected learning curve. There also could have been more effort put into embracing the theme.Great Idea - Somewhat Poor Presentation
