VSDISPLAY 12.3 Inch 2K LCD Screen 2400x900 with Type-c LCD Controller Board,as Extra Secondary Display Panel for PC/Laptop/Game Cabinet Monitor

I got this display for a digital dash project for an older RX-7. It looks like it will work great for that purpose!To test I plugged it into my Windows11 PC via the mini-HDMI port, and powered it via USB-C. Eventually I'll be plugging it into a SBC like Raspberry PI 4b or similar. For only just having plugged it in it looks like a good functional display. Nice and bright. In the picture I've left the protective shipping screen on it.Things to know:* The display and 2 circuit boards come completely naked. You will have to figure out your own mounting solutions for them. Part of what makes this a good project display.* The display has a bit of an edge, but no metal frame around the edges. BE CAREFUL HANDLING IT. Once mounted in a housing (i.e. dash panel) it will be fine but handle with care until then.* The ribbon cables and connectors are FRAGILE. If you're not comfortable handling small electronics, then this might not be a good item for you.* I don't have it in a car in daylight right now, but it looks like it will be bright enough to be easily viewed while driving since the OEM gauge pod is under a sun visor.* Visible area is approximately 11 1/2in w by 4 3/8in h.

Screen was exactly what I was looking for building, my own custom digital dashboard. The dimensions were perfect the contrast ratio, and everything makes it easy to see without having to be very bright in a vehicle. Price was great. Item was very well packaged arrived on time and works perfectly.
