It's brake grease! And even in small 4 oz jars, it's enough for this home mechanic to last a lifetime. I like it because it's specific grease for a specific application when doing brake jobs (caliper guide pins vs. caliper contact points on the brake shoes), instead of genetic stuff included with a set of brake pads.I did a brake job a month or so ago, and spent the time to clean, descale, and regrease all brake components (instead of just swapping pads and rotors). Time well spent. No issues, brakes work great, and the brakes are quiet.
