Superior value and excellent quality
Excellent quality folding knife. Great materials. Opening mechanism is very springy and flips the blade open quickly. Solid hinge and locking mechanism. Great quality 440C Cryo steel that was decently sharp out of the package, but the edge grinds were very wavy. Indicates hand sharpening on probably a belt. I took time to reprofile the edge on a Work Sharp Precision sharpener and now it’s clean lines and razor sharp. Excellent value at only around $30-35 bucks.

Excellent budget knife!
Project Farm reviewed and ranked it high overall. Sharp out the box. Great price where I don’t feel too scared with what I use it for. Sturdy, great size and sharp blade. This is my 3rd Sog and love them all!

Good Enough for Project Farm, Good Enough for Me!
Project Farm recommended this economical blade on one of his recent reviews, so I picked one up as he rarely steers us wrong. Not a high-end blade and will require more sharpening than a model with high-carbon steel but an excellent value.

The clip will ruin your pockets.
This knife is huge and heavy. I won’t be carrying this regularly, like i hoped to.The clip is too rigid and it’s damaging my pants pocket every time I put it on or take it off.

The disadvantage of buying on the internet.
After 30 years I had to buy a new knife. The disadvantage of buying a personal thing like a knife on the internet sight unseen is obvious here.This is well made. The blade seems very sharp.It was heavier than I expected for some reason. And a bit bigger than I like by a small amount. kind of clunkier feel.The main problem is it is a lot harder to open and close than any knife I have ever owned. The video shows young guys flipping the thing open etc. I found I have to use 2 hands to open and close it.The closing/unlock the blade latch is to small or badly designed.I could have just bought a fixed blade that is smaller and lighter since I leave it open all the time to avoing the stiff mechanism.

Good Knife
Sturdy blade and grip. The assisted opening requires a deliberate effort to start deployment of the blade then the spring assit kicks in. Cutting edge had some burrs but they cleaned up with a strop. Overall it is a good knife.
