Wrap is just like any other rockwool heatwrap. Provided ties are JUNK
The wrap is just what youd expect from rockwool. The ties they give you are junk, they dont cinch up well, and they slip and rotate long before they get tight, then are very tough to cut without ending up with a razor edge to cut yourself on. Buy the ties with the ridges stamped into them, they cinch up better, and cut easier and cleaner.WEAR LONG SLEEVES AND GLOVES WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT. it is FAR itchier and sharper than fiberglass. Also wear a respirator when working with it in an enclosed area. This stuff is really nasty on your eyes, nose, lungs and skin. Dont just go slapping it in with bare hands...youll regret it.

I like it so far / 1 year installed and running..
after intalling it let the motorcycle run for one hour or so because it's smelly at the beginning, adds a nice look and it keeps the heat in (more than without them for sure). I like it and think it was a good buy.. remember to USE GLOVES during installation/manipulation if you don't want to be scratching your arms for days (I learnt it the hard way).

looks good
read all the suggested install comments. It makes all the difference to have it wet while installing. It can be pulled tighter and reduces the airborne particles. It is like working with fiberglass weave. There is an edge that is finished better that the other, it should be the exposed edge. Be careful as the weave will unravel very quickly if not handled gently. When you finish a run make sure you tuck the end under and secure with the metal ties. If you don't the end will continue to unravel making a mess and not looking very nice. Some of the more expensive brands have a stitched edge which helps prevent the unraveling, however they are much more expensive. Take care, and take your time and you can make this product look very nice. Not sue about durability yet.

Definitely Recommended.
Excellent Product. Using it for marine exhausts and it works as advertised. It does not change color and after about 3 hours of use no longer smells. Stainless clips can be piggybacked for wider exhausts. I used large stainless hose clamps instead of the provided clips in my application for a very secure and neat appearance. I would recommend as I did to apply the wrap using a dust mask.

Works as designed.
The product was easy to install and it seems to keep the exhaust temperature down even better than the stock exhaust which only has a metal heat shield. Make sure you wear gloves and long sleeve shirt when installing because the product is like handling fiberglass insulation type products. It has been a few months since install and it is working great.

This wrap will rust your headers out in under a year
I've had this wrap installed on my 1000CC SXS for just under a year now and on my last ride, the header pipe cracked in half. Upon further inspection, it was obvious that the wrap retains too much water over time and causes accelerated rusting and premature failure. Not only that, but its turned extremely brittle and useless by now. This is after several of the steel clamps have rusted and broken within this timeframe as well. I have removed the remaining heat wrap from the rest of my exhaust system, just hoping that the damage done isn't too bad. Save yourself headache, time, and money. DO NOT put this on your exhaust

Thats a wrap!
One roll covered one side pipe on my vette. Luckily I bought two. The look great, and keep me from burning my legs. The steel bands are ok i guess, and i may have mesothelioma from all the fibers cast to the surrounding air as i was working on it, but it was worth it in the end.

Have no complaints. Good product good value.
1st) It took 2 rolls to do both small block Chevy headers.2nd) I watched a video on how to wrap headers.3rd) Get the wrap wet like in the video. Don’t dunk it. WEAR GLOVES!!4th ) I like the product. I can afford to always buy the cool guy name brands. This product works great if you install it correctly. I used high temp silicone paint to further improve the effects of wrapping. BUY EXTRA ZIP TIES!!

Exhaust wrap
What can really be said, this wrap works a treat when insulating my car exhaust system. On a standard mild steel exhaust it's not a good option due to the wrap holding water against the steel (you can coat the wrap with a high temperature paint or the exhaust prior to wrapping it.. however I'd expect the paint to rub through over time)On a stainless system you've no real worries due to stainless steel being resistant against rust "unless it's a cheap grade etc"Anyway this product is easy to apply, easy to work with & does its job as your expect..Just note upon 1st use you may see & smell burning & see signs of smoke from within your engine bay etc... that only lasts a short time & it's not your car on fire...

Far better than the fibreglass type and excellent instructions and clips.
Bought some fibreglass type wrap a few years ago and it was horrible to apply and I itched for weeks - It disintergrated so I thought I would try this instead. Use the gloves and soak it in water before applying. I wrapped a 3 inch / 2 feet section of piping twice. The metal clips are very good but slightly too short to use on the corners on a 3 inch tube, but fit the straights perfectly. Clips are twice the width and thanks to the instructions I know how to use them properly! Very pleased with the finished result

Wrappers delight.
Happy with the wrap. I used it to repair a hole in an exhaust manifold on my dad’s boat. It was a really awkward spot to get to, but the steel ties that came with it made it possible to get the fabric exactly where I needed it. I put on one layer, fitted several ties before pushing some exhaust paste into it. I then fitted another layer of wrap with another few ties; sorted the blow perfectly and sealed what was a fair size hole.

Excellent product
This is very high quality wrap and can be pulled good and tight and doesn’t fray at the edges despite about 50 wraps around the header pipe for a full 12 metres. Also has good length stainless steel straps for a 2.5 inch /62.5mm exhaust the straps need to be 10 inch to be sure they are Long enough some sellers only offer 7.9 inch and that’s not long enough. Good quality gloves too. Quick delivery would recommend this product and seller.

Great exhaust wrap.
Superb exhaust wrap. Used other stuff at twice the price. Easy to apply and love the bronze colour. Early days for durability and colour fade but I'm pretty confident it'll be ok. Great service from seller as well. A1.
