Worked perfectly, and very easy.I’d tried other similar products before that were rubbish!

The instructions are rubbish. I actually put this item in for a return due to not understanding it. I then went back and tried it again!! And managed to get it working with sound.Step 1 - plug it all in - scart on VCR and into usb port on laptop.Step 2 - open the camera app on laptop and it may take a few moments but when you change it video check the TOP RIGHT of the camera app you'll see the sign to change the camera to rear facing.Step 3 - Press play on VCR and record on the laptop to begin. NOTE!! YOU WILL NOT HEAR WHAT IS BEING PLAYED ON VISUALLY SEE IT ON THE SCREEN.Step 4 - Go into gallery and then watch it back and you'll have audio and visual.Hope this helps others.

Does what it says on the box and so easy

I used this to copy old family videos on VHS to MP4. Fantastic to relive these memories. Quality was not fantastic, but I’m inclined to blame the VHS quality. Easy to use once you get the hang of the input being received by the Microsoft built in camera app and recording files defaulting to the camera roll folder. Just follow the instructions. No need for the Nero software yet. But no doubt useful for editing.

Great for transferring VHS to digital files on a PC.
