You cant get better quality for the price
I originally bought one of these for an ultra-light setup that I wanted to put 5 lb braid onto for trout and panfish, and needed more than just the 10 size spool. It quickly became one of my favorite reels! Very balanced and smooth action consistently use after use. After breaking the rod that I bought it for I swapped it out for another one and put that reel in storage. Now it is almost 3 years later and I have bought two more of this identical size reel. They have held up in the rain, sand, being dropped in the mud, ice fishing all season, and even me stepping on it which barely even bent the bail spring. Needless to say after much trial and abuse they still are holding up and still my favorite reel. I'm considering buying a larger spool size and using them for bass fishing equipment as well.

Best 30$ you’ll spend on a reel
I have to say this reel is vary well build and feels supper solid in your hand. Don’t let the description fool you, this is a fresh and light inshore(salt water) reel. I have a Penn pursuit that doesn’t feel as solid at the Alaris and it’s more expensive. You can’t beat the price and quality of this reel.

A pretty cheap reel
This is a cheap reel and not only in price but also everything else. It doesn't spin very freely and the drag clicker skips detents either tightening or loosening. It works, but for about $5 more, I would get a Daiwa or Shimano in the same range, much better,

Great little reel
Great reel at a fair price thinking about purchasing another one the next size up.

Reel is hit and miss
The reel itself seems good quality. Just squeeks and feels a bit dry inside. Going to lube everything up hopefully that helps things
