The original Marble Genius set was always falling over because there were not enough bases. An adult had to hold put the structure. This set lets two children build together.

Grandson loves this and it works perfectly with our older set. Thrilled with the purchase and grandson loves it.

I received another vendor's marble set with chutes and the risers. This product works seamlessly with the product I already had. We have 5 grandchildren ranging from 5 years old to under 1. The 4 older grandchildren LOVE when I build a structure. The oldest is now doing more of the building. I not only purchased this set, but also purchased another set that had more base items (to build the structure upon). I can't wait to build again with all these new pieces, which will allow the overall structure to be shorter--which is perfect for the age of my grands!The plastic is sturdy and the pieces fit tightly with what I already had.I suspect I'll be buying more items from this company as our structures grow!!!!

The media could not be loaded. We love Marble Genius sets. We own a basic set and several add-ons, including a few additional sets of tubes, two ocean accessory sets, and a couple of physics sets. We bought them for our daughter, who is 8 and can design and build her own runs now, but, until this year, she needed help. It's a good thing I enjoy playing with this toy as much as she does! (Maybe more).The physics add-on set includes two Y-splitters, which are really essential pieces. It is easy to get marble run paths to converge into one, but pretty much impossible to get them to go in different directions without either splitters or 2-way slides. Trust me, a few of these things makes marble runs infinitely more fun an interesting. The run in the video includes three Y-splitters, so there are six different paths, but they all end up in one of three bases. Also included in this set are a couple of rail pieces. Marbles sometimes stall out on the yellow rail loop unless you put an extra tube right above the opening to give it extra momentum. The pink loop is fun when it works. Sometimes lightweight plastic marbles get stuck at the end of the loop, but glass marbles work fine. It can be difficult to really see the marbles go through the loops because they are so fast! Overall, a worthwhile addition to any Marble Genius set.

I ordered this add-on for my son. He was very excited to see that his marble run has extra "things"(as he calls them) for his marble track. They were exactly what was described for the product, and he loves them. They are very sturdy, can be cleaned easily, and fit with no problems.

A great inventive you for kids of all ages .. This is a supplement set to the classic marble runs!

This set fit perfectly with a different brand of marble run track, and the additional y-site splitters has added a whole new level of fun to our tracks. My 6-year-old was very excited about the loop-the-loop piece, too, but said he wished the loop was bigger. Very glad we purchased this kit. Some parts may be more fragile due to thin plastic supports, but it is plastic, after all, and not intended to last forever!

Got a starter set, the physics fun, and the genius waterslides....This one got 5 stars while the other two got 4 stars. This review is about all three.: My daughter (2Y) is still to young to built it, which is therefore on me, and which can be a little frustrating (if you built from top to the ground) due to having not enough hands to hold it all in place without the multiple bases you gonna need and it falling apart if you are not careful enough. But its fun for her to put the marbles in and follow them with her eyes after I finally got a good and satisfying version together. I wouldn't try to step on the tubes but they look okay to deal with regular use for quite some time. No fitting problems. I always wanted one, hehe.
