Easy to hang - easy to use - turns on with motion - aim it at a spot on the dash or use the ātargetā press on spot to use as a guide!

Motion detection detect car moving the majority of the time.
Motion detection won't work the majority of the time. Will detect a human body moving, but seldom detects the car moving. Or it shuts off while the car is moving in and won't come back on. Returning for refund.

Works ok
This is easy to install and comes with a target that can be placed on your dash that the laser will hit when pulling into your garage. This isn't needed if you don't want the target on your dash and your can adjust the laser to any point on your dash to use as a 'target'.In theory, it works pretty well. However, I have a very steep driveway and getting lined up isn't always easy when you're waiting on a laser to light up. Since it runs on batteries, it comes on anytime someone walks in front of it and sometimes when the garage door just opens. We'll see how long the batteries last, but I did make sure to use rechargeables. It is nice to not have to guide each other from getting to close to the wall, so I'll take that as a win š

Laser does not activate when you drive into the garage

Good idea but just isn't effective
This is a great concept and I it was just what I was looking for to help pull into the carport getting as close to the pillar without hitting it. The issue is that the laser isn't bright enough to see unless it is night time. I have a black car and there is a lot of ambient light since this is carport so it's possible this would work better in other situations. I don't think you would want a brighter laser for safety purposes. It's well made and easy to install. I was worried that the magnets wouldn't be strong enough and it would fall and hit my car but it's held solid for a month and a half.Even though this wasn't helpful I left it installed. Its been a month and a half and the laser isn't coming on anymore. I assume the batteries are dead. It's possible since this is in a carport the motion detector was triggered more often

Like a Glove!!!
The media could not be loaded. Ā **See My Video and Pics!!!!**This parking assist works really well. I mounted the laser to the ceiling after installing the batteries, but you could install it on a wall also. The laser pointer is movable with an eye-socket type connection, allowing pointing of the laser practically anywhere in front of the unit itself. The motion detection picks up very well, even when walking near the car. It could be a little less sensation to save battery power, but itās a tiny LED so there isnāt much current draw. Even so, the light is plenty bright. The video was taken during the day in Florida, and it was super bright outside. As you can see, there is no problem seeing the laser on the included dashboard target.Parking with this assistant ensures 100% fit of my Durango into the garage, leaving maximum space between the door into to the house and the front of the truck, while ensuring the backend of the vehicle is juuuuuuust inside enough to not get hit by the overhead garage door when itās being opened and closed. Iāve been wanting one of these for a long time, and this model does NOT disappoint.I highly recommend this laser parking assist.

I love this thing
Years ago, the man I was living with installed similar units to this in our garage, so we could both pull in and have enough room to maneuver around the cars. Those units were hard-wired, and I've often thought how handy one would be in my current home, where the garage is smaller, but I'm having to contend with a backup battery (for my solar panels) mounted on the wall, bicycles, lots of stuff to store, and the need to wheel the trash cans out to the curb once a week, usually while the car is parked in the garage. So I was really pleased to find this unit and especially that it doesn't have to be hard-wired in.Because there is no place where a magnet can stick in my garage, I mounted this on a wooden beam, using the tape strips on the mounting plate. It took some fiddling to get the laser pointed where I wanted it on the car's dashboard, but I finally have it where I want it, and it's been working like a champ. The motion detector sense when I just walk into the garage and turns on the laser then, so I don't know how long the batteries will last. But for now, I'm really happy with this unit.
