Q: maximum temperature? so much good reviews, hope its really good

So far I am perfectly happy with it. The steam option and self cleaning work real well, it get hot enough at full temperature to do the job well without being too hot as to burn the clothes.

Q: Why was there already water in my iron qhen delivered? Was it previously used ?

I find that rather odd but I really don't know why. There shouldn't be water inside.

Q: Will it work outside of the US with 220 voltage?

I am assuming people iron clothes outside the U.S. If so any electrical outlet you just plug in.
