I ordered this for my office. My patients love the size and I love that I can explain decay, abscesses, and show the difference between healthy teeth and decayed teeth. They are easy to clean and fit nicely in you had for demo for your patient.

This is a great educational piece. It shows the tooth anatomy and the other side shows different stages of decay on different areas of the tooth. It even has a gingival pocket. I have this on my desk for use in educational purposes. Otherwise I call it my new paperweight.

Picked this up for a gift to my daughter's best friend who's a dental assistant. While cannot attest to the exactness of the detail, I can say it's nice enough for a desk decoration for the person in your life or otherwise associated with the dental discipline. It is an amazing comedy set in Viking times.How does this relate to a dental prop?Well there is a character in that show called Jarl Varg. I won't spoil anything for anyone, but he is a complex and hilarious "villan" character who happens to have an obsession with human teeth.It's weird, but funny.Anyways, this is going to be a funny Christmas gag gift for my friend.He'll get the joke right away and we'll all have a great laugh.As for the product itself, it is a very solid and quality item with very nice detail. I can only imagine that when used in a dental setting as a visual aid, it would be perfect.It's such a good item that its use has expanded beyond the obvious and into the surreal! lol

I like that there is a side showing health, and another side showing pathology. Both tooth decay and gum disease are shown in this model.Excellent representation of dental and periodontal anatomy.
