It has tools for removing the cuticle that don't damage the nail. If you don't know how to use those tools that's has nothing to do with the actual product.

Q: How long should I leave it on my cuticles?

Works fast with little effort! I applied the cream to my cuticles and it softened my cuticles in almost 30s or so, then pushed back my cuticles with the cuticle pusher and the nipper easily clipped off my cuticles. The results are amazing, it's better than any other cuticle remover on the market.

Q: Do I need to purchase the tools and cuticle oil pen separately, are these included in the kit?

No need to buy it separately, this kit has everything you need to remove your cuticles. I received 1 bottle cuticle remover, 1pcs cuticle nipper, 1pcs cuticle trimmer, 1pcs cuticle pusher, 1pcs cuticle oil pen and a few cotton pads. I like that it's cost effective, saves me money and works great.
