Powerful for the money, Kinda muddy sound quality
This is a great addition to my little beater sedan.. you turn the car and don't expect it to pack a punch. The bass response is solid, but not super crispy or clear. The enclosure I used is a 1x1foot sealed 3/4 inch super dense particle board. Hooked up the dvc in parallel.

Great sub- hard hitting and clean!
Really hard hitting sub for its size and accurate sound. No fuzziness at all just pure clean bass notes. Unfortunately it wouldnt work in my car’s factory enclosure. Really disappointed as the sound was very impressive, much better than factory sub.

Fantastic free air subwoofer
This is a fantastic subwoofer for free air applications. I put on on the rear deck of my 2018 Audi S4 to replace the B&O sub it came with. The sub was a perfect fit with a 3/4" spacer ring under it. The bass output is super deep and clean. The frequency response is very flat from 28Hz to 80Hz, with 27Hz at -3dB and 25Hz at -10dB. I'm using the factory amp, but if you want a booming system consider adding an amp. I ran T/S calculations before buying and actual measure performance exactly aligns with the calculations. This isn't considered a "shallow" depth sub but it's shallow enough not to eat up too much trunk space.

They hit hard at 2 ohms
I have a pair wired to 2 ohms and gave them each their own 300 rms monoblock amp (infinity 3001A $50) and put them in a ported standard enclosure. They hit almost as hard as the pair of 12" SVC kickers wired in parallel together on a single monoblock splitting 700 rms . DVC is a must. Wish they put them in the $300 12" box they sell instead of lousy SVCs wired to 2 ohms to the terminal only... Come on man!

Awesome sub
I’ve always got long life and great sound out of these subs, one in my truck is twenty years old and still hits. I believe kicker is best bang for the buck!
