K1 SeriesGeroline Mid-Sole High Profile Ice Cleats

I used these ice fishing recently and was very pleased. I ordered the High Profile because I wear rubber Sorel boots that have a deep recess on the sole between the treads. These cleats bit in nicely and gave good traction on the ice. They can be slid easily to the side of the boot when you are back on solid ground. They seemed a little pricier than other cleats when I first ordered them, but after using them was very happy with their performance and felt they were a great value. I am going to order another pair in medium profile for my wife to use next winter.

So I want to change my review [not sure it posted anyway]… here’s the thing, these are great, really need to purchase based on the heel profile of your intended boot to get optimal performance… too long always works, but maybe a little high for gate and arch, anyway, works awesome, just pay attention to height… I think I went a little long but haven’t fallen yet… a little arch strange feel is better than a trip to the emergency room.

I love these. I feel safer walking around our farm when I have them on. However, a couple things to note. I had to trim them with an angle grinder before they would fit in the appropriate space on the bottom of my Dunlop winter rubber boots. Also, they’re snug, so you really have to grab them and rotate with some force when you’re pulling them around for inside walking. If you live on a farm on anywhere where your boots get dirty, this sometimes means getting your hands a bit dirty. Overall, they’re worth it.
