Cute and Clear Instructions
This was the second string art kit I bought. The first one left me frustrated and confused. I decided to give it another try with this kit and I am so glad I did. The instructions were clear and easy to follow making this an enjoyable craft! I thought it was very creative how they included a mini clothes pin to control the depth of the needles. The only issue I had was with the holes being pre-drilled, some of my needles were a bit wobbly so I just hammered them in a bit more, it may have been from me pulling the string too tight around them.Pro tip: do NOT pull the string off the cardboard insert that it is wrapped around. I did this thinking it would be easier and not snag....INSTANT tangled mess. Luckily the string is waxy so it didn't know but it was a pain to unravel. Lesson learned lol.I have already ordered another string art kit from this company and cannot wait to get it in the mail tomorrow!

Excellent project
This is amazing, easy to put together and very beautiful when done. Was great for a recent hospital stay. Doesn't keep you busy for too long though. Maybe an hour or two.

Outstanding!
My husband has really enjoyed making this cool string art. Says it is good quality and even has extra nails. He plans to order more.

Love it!
Great value for finished size! Even includes the little hammer you need to accomplish the “unfun” part before stringing the masterpiece! Will but more for sure.

garbage product
was looking forward to doing this because it is beautiful. But, I have never done a craft that frustrated more than this! The problem is that the nails are to be hammered in, ok, but the platform is like a plastic material. The nails would come loose in the middle of a color and you have to start all over or try to glue a nail back in without disturbing the tension of the string. also, the string is slippery and that made it difficult to make knots in the beginning and end of each color. would not buy this again. you need wood for the platform and nails that have ridges to grip.

Fun but frustrating project.. a lesson in patience
This project took about 4 hours total. I had to stop and come back to it as it is very frustrating when you are in the middle of doing one of the colors and a nail comes loose. While hammering, other nails from other colors come loose too so you end up having to go back multiple times. I also didn't anticipate having to triple knot as the double knot comes loose as well.Overall.. a lot of lessons learned, it turned out cool.. but not sure I would spend the money on this again as the material is cheap. The board is not real wood. it's like particle board and flimsy. The hammer was okay, there is plenty of string left over (and nails) while the scissors didn't work at all. The instructions could use a bit of work as well. I ended up googling a few things.

Needs Some Changes
I used to make designs with nails and yarn when I was young, so I bought this as soon as I saw it. It comes with plenty of thread and nails plus hanging hardware. The scissors are a joke, so don't bother with them. If you've never made string art before, the instructions can be a little unclear. I started by hammering in the nails. Things went downhill after that.As soon as you start wrapping the thread, the nails start to come out. I tried multiple times, but the nails just don't stay in place. So I bought Elmer's clear glue, glued the nails in, and let it dry. Afterwards, I was able to wrap the thread. Overall, I enjoyed the project, but the nail problem needs to be fixed, the scissors should be scrapped, and I think the price is a bit too high.

Crafts
This craft I’m sure would look beautiful when finished but it irrates me from the very start having to hammer a lot of little nails into the boards. Crafts are supposed to be relaxing and I didn’t find this one. I ended up throwing it away after hammering it just ten of the little nails. But that’s just my opinion.
