Solid construction and great design.
Great replacement for my old work backpack. I loved the old one and had gone through 3 of them so far but they seemed to last about a year and a zipper or some stitching would fail. I carry laptop, portable spare monitor, Bluetooth mouse, 2 battery banks, a few hand tools, tape measure, level, range finder, notebook and pen, some other miscellaneous items. Construction is solid on this pack and the compartments are well thought out.

Beast of a bag
This thing is super tough and awesome. Got it after yt reviews from marinex and some desy Chang and some others. I got the gray one which is covert and subtle enough to not attract any attention to a tactical bag. Very few or small logos also. Looks like a normal bag pretty much. Wouldn’t mind if it came with some extra pockets or at least a couple more hook pieces because the bag is already quite expensive not to mention maybe another $100 for the hook accessories. The one it comes with works okay. Zippers are probably the best I have ever seen and super tough, and smooth. Also fairly comfortable but it’s not a very light bag and especially what’s it’s designed for, tools and ccs it could get a bit heavy and uncomfortable for long periods. Bottom is super reinforced and could withstand a mine. Laptop sleeve can fit up to a 16” but it quite tight and may need to be moved to ccw compartment. It still floats so it won’t bang around on the bottom. A couple negatives though, the water bottle pouch is a little tight especially with the stupid draw string thingy which takes up lots of room and prevents closing for some larger bottles. Might cut it off honestly. Limited attachment points on straps for camera/lights/water. Zippers for Molle compartment are hard to unzipper when fully closed under the grand handle but not a problem because you can just keep them to the side and or use the quick pull tab. Overall it’s a great edc/possible bugout bag. Probably best bag from vertx line.

High quality bag
This is a high quality, well designed bag. You can definitely fit a small PCC with a foldable stock in the back panel. Ultimately, I didn't really care for the external material. However, it definitely doesn't scream CCW or tactical.

Great bag
Quality is great. I use it for EDC and it fits the bill for me perfectly. Might be a little big for some to carry as EDC but I think it's about right. I probably carry a little more than most and don't usually buy some prepackaged gear. I bought several of the accessories for the bag and they are well made too. Put a kydex S&W Shield 45 holster in it with one of their Velcro mounting solutions and it works perfectly.

Great bag with a pricey flaw
The backpack is great but there is a blaring design flaw that I can’t believe Vertx overlooked. The front quick access compartment has a full zipper but you have to battle to get it zipped under the handle. Meaning, chalk it up to quick zip only if you’re impatient. It’s too bad for a EDC/CCW minded company. I don’t want to be in a crowd and give quick access to everyone behind me or snag it on something. I also don’t wanna fight a zipper I paid top dollar for. It seems like a foreseeable design error which makes it all the more nagging. If you look beyond that, the rest of the bag is awesome, quality through and through, customizable, and intuitive. It’s so odd to me no one said “ehh maybe we should rework this”. When you spend this amount of money you want to love it but hopefully folks speak up and the next gen will be better.
