Coopers of Stortford Floating Garden Pond Water Fish Protection Guards

I wasn’t sure how these would work as I’ve read mixed reviews. I only have a little pond with five fish but I’m very attached to them, and my neighbor has three cats that rampage round our garden. The other morning I came out to find pond plants knocked over and fish protectors half sunk but thank goodness I still have five fish! True they’re not the most attractive things and the catches are fiddly but they did work and the fish seem to like playing underneath them. Caught the cat sauntering over to the pond yesterday - soaked his ass with my water gun 😀

Product works but it does tend to sink just underneath the water

I put these on my pond after taking the net off within two days the heron had walked onto these protection guards squashing them to the bottom of pond enabling it to eat my 15 year old goldfish as well as piecing the pond liner in a place where it was difficult to mend,and so I had to empty my pond and rehome the rest of my fish.I would not recommend these things.

Not quite as strong or wide as previous versions I've had, and a couple of the spokes snapped, but they do the job and that's the most important thing. Fish are safe, herons are baffled and deterred.

Bought this because the pigeons were using my pond as a bath and making it filthy. This works great and it looks nicer than wire mesh. Very pleased

Disappointed with this item quite flimsy not very easy to use or assemble took a long time to get it where I wanted it in the pond and it doesn’t stay in position for very long if there’s any movement in the pond and it sinks and tangles up easily

Might work for stopping birds but cats still took the fish
