Great product!!
I have an 11yr old Redbone Retriever (a newish "designer" mixed breed of dog, mixing the Redbone Coonhound and Golden Retriever, and bred intentionally for the size, demeanor, and gentle but protective nature...) named Lola Grace, that I adopted in 2013, when she was 9wks old. 2yrs agoI had to make a trip to Colorado and couldn't bring her with me, due to circumstances of the trip... Her and her sister (a red heeler named Ruby May) were being puppy sat by a friend and managed to work their way out of my friends back yard during a potty break and went on a walk about town that ended in Ruby being picked up by animal control and Lola being attacked by a random pack of stray dogs... She had to be rushed to surgery. I immediately hopped a plane and rushed home to be with her... She was left with tubes in her for the drainage because of the severity of her injuries and had more than 100 stitches to close up the damage and save her life... At that time she weighed 109lbs and was not overweight, but had always been called large for her breeds... (she was has been bigger than the rest of her litter mates) Over the last 2yrs since, she's bounced back on all points, but her weight skyrocketed to 158lbs and now has issues getting up and down from my hardwood floors.... Because her back legs were injured fairly severely, she had a long road to standing up on her own without help... She finally got to the point where she could do it, but has never quite been the same bouncy circus bear she always has been... I tried some of the nail caps and even Dr Buzby's nail grips... And nothing seemed to help her stand or move with more confidence indoors... UNTIL NOW... I will have to record and add a video at a later date, but after just applying the grips to her rear feet, it was like a whole new dog!!! She was so excited when she realized she could atand with the grips no problem.... That she started running around the house... And she hasn't run anywhere in 2 years... I'm in tears seeing how happy she is... I had started to worry that she was winding down.. and now, I can see, she just needed a bit of help.... These things are absolutely worth every penny and they're VERY well made. They're SUPER grippy and she gets up like a pro again! I will continue to buy these for her and am also about to buy them for my 9yr old red heeler to see if they can help her too... Thank you so much for this product! I'm hoping that with the HP of these grips, I can help her lose some of the weight shes gained... Yesterday I would have told anyone that I didn't have much time left with her..... Today, I am confident that I have several more years and many more adventures with my girl... I can't say it enough... THIS IS A LIFE CHANGING PRODUCT FOR YOUR FUR BABY WITH HIP AND JOINT AND STANDING ISSUES... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

DO NOT STICK, disappointed
I come from a veterinary background, where I assisted a veterinarian that did physical therapy for pets after surgery or some sort of injury. So, I have more than your average experience with this type of thing. My personal senior dog, recently tore both her ACLs within 6 weeks. I was desperate for something to give her any type of advantage when walking on slick floors. For the 30 seconds these things stick, it was GREAT! I could definitely tell they helped her. Having use these types of products before, I followed all the directions to the tea. Cleaned her paws with alcohol, cut each little “pad” to fit exactly on her pads, did it right before bedtime last night, thinking that would give them a chance to adhere even more. NOPE. Just woke up, my girl has been in the exact same spot ALL night, and half of them have already come off! What a total bummer. She hasn’t even been using them for the last 6 hours. I was already planning on looking into some skin glue to help them stick, but I shouldn’t have to! We see our doggy chiropractor in a few hours, I’ll be sure she knows to tell her other clients to pay more money and buy some skin glue so these work.Aside from that, good value for the $, easy to trim to my dogs feet, pretty colors. They just can’t do their job, when they fall right off!

Grip!
I love these things, indoors and outside. I was getting desperate. She’s much too old for surgery. These give her the ability to push her back end up, and walk without slipping. The only issue is that they don’t stay on when they get wet. But, it does say so in the in the instructions

Adhesion not great
I bought these twice because the first set seemed to work ok. My dog doesn't slip in the house when she spins or dives for her toy. That was when the weather was a lot colder and we didn't go outside as much. After getting the second set, they didn't even stay on after 18 hours. I need to state that we are going outside a lot more, now that the weather is getting better - my dog is also playing frisbee, and diving off the deck - so it could be a combination of those things. I do need to find a brand that will stay on longer because she needs grips for outside as well. The deck gets way too slippery when it gets wet.

This CAN work!
I got these for my 40 pound mix who is losing control of her back legs through muscle degeneration :( After reading many reviews that said they don't stick I had to think out of the box because I knew they would work IF I could get them to stick on for a longer period of time. Research: Skin-Tac. It is made to hold human bandages, insulin pumps on to skin. It is pricey but will last forever and worth it. I have used it multiple times to adhere these toe grip pads to my pup and they have stayed on at least a week each time through the winter, she has walked through rain, snow and mud. I expect them to last longer once it is dry outside :) Directions: Cut as much fur out from between dogs toe pads as possible. Make sure pads are clean. Apply Skin-Tac to pads. Let Skin-tac dry (it will be tacky.) Cut pads into 5 pieces to fit dogs individual pads per foot. Peel backing and apply. I hold them in place for about 30 seconds to allow the glue to bond. I hope this helps anyone else whose doggie is slipping. When sticky pads start to peel off you can clean the dog's pads with rubbing alcohol and start the procedure over. The first time this took me about 30 minutes with a learning curve. Now it takes me about 15 minutes from start to finish. Blowing a fan or hairdryer on dog's feet once the Skin-Tac is applied moves things along so you don't have to wait forever for it to dry. I am so thrilled that my dog can get up by herself and feel more steady when I walk her with her sling. When the weather is nicer I will get her a cart so she can walk independently. Good Luck!
