Gripping
Powerful and easy to use set of clamps, with just the right reach for the job I had in mind. A little heavier than expected, but that is the result of strong construction (especially the long steel 'beam' linking the clamps), so not a bad point.I already own four smaller Irwin clamps of similar design, which have proved to be robust and reliable despite some heavy usage. The reversible clamp is relatively easy to deploy, as is the quick release. As such I have no hesitation in recommending this item, especially at the good price it was supplied at on Amazon (a bit more expensive than some others of similar length, but they were all inferior in quality & features).

Finally a clamp that doesn't make me want to kill myself.
The amount of force it can apply is just ridiculous. They are very light for the pressure they provide - and you don't even need to put much effort when tighting it. Release feels very natural. The high quality polymer seem to be very strong.Unlike most clamps I used, the pads don't leave marks on soft woodsThey are not cheap, but it is well worth the price - don't waste your money on cheap 'clamps'.

Sturdy, solid and powerful
Great clamps with a good range and the jaws don't damage the working surface. Very well made, if a little heavy. The reversible feature is very handy.A bit pricey, but worth the money if you do a lot of DIY or in the trade.

Brilliant
You can never have too many clamps. I bought these to erm, compliment my existing clamps, mainly because I didn’t have any spreaders. They’re big and very capable for most things. Excellent, can recommend.

Very good clamps! Really heavy-duty
I find myself using these almost every time I am in the workshop. You can really clamp things down with these. I also have 2 pairs of the light-duty model and one pair of the medium-duty ones, but I find myself using these the most. When I bought them I thought they could be used as parallel jaw clamps, but I was mistaken. Still very happy with them.

Good product but dadly finished
I really like Irwin clamps. They are sturdy and versatile for woodworking and you can feel they will last better than others. However one of these clamps required some extensive filing before I could remove and reverse the clamp head. These is not something I expect to find in a brand in the premium section. Better quality control please Irwin!
