BraunMen's Quartz Chronograph Watch with Leather Strap

This is a medium-sized watch with harmonious proportions. The dial features a classic Braun design with a Bauhaus elements. This gives them excellent readability (at least the white dial version). The case is matt, with straight sides, made of stainless steel, flat glass. There is no anti-reflective coating, but, nevertheless, the appearance of the watch does not suffer too much from this. The strap is of good quality, genuine leather, and it fits perfectly on the 205mm wrist and still has enough length to tuck under the strap loop. It may not be the best choice for the full price of the watch (but definitely not the worst), but I bought it on Amazon with a 50% discount and it is a very good purchase. If you are looking for a dress watch with a casual touch, this might be your choice.The packaging box itself is the most simple, utilitarian, and for a gift it will not look too luxurious, but the watch itself will not disappoint. Recommended.

This is my first "proper" watch. I hated wearing a watch before, I found them uncomfortable and would take them off without knowing (I've lost a few!) this one has 3 things going for it:1) It looks awesome, It follows Dieter Rams Design Principles of "Less, but better", principles I share which makes it even more pleasurable to watch.2) Its very confortable to wear, leather feels great and its light enough you can forget you are wearing.3) Price, I bought it for £160 here (It has gone up slightly now) despite the low price I can tell this watch is going to last me for a very long time.

Nice watch, and I like the design, but it has stopped working after just three weeks. Battery appears to be working fine because the stopwatch function operates, but the main watch has packed up and the date cannot be manually adjusted; suggests a major mechanical failure.

An excellent daily use watch.Minimalist styling, good legibility, reasonable comfort and light weight are plus points, the so-called leather strap looks more like plastic and I think a silicon strap would be more comfortable and more in keeping with the design ethos.

An ageless watch first released in the 70s and recently re-released, designed by the design god Dieter Rams. This watch, although appearing simple in design compared to other modern watches will delight you every time you look at it. Its crisp numerals and details work well with the clean white background to make something familiar yet always new when looking at it over and over again.I have received many comments about this watch, always positive ones, in the middle of conversations people will give me a compliment out of nowhere, the best one being: 'for a toothbrush brand they know how to make a good watch'. This is the only real shame with Braun watches, outside of Germany they aren't really recognised except by design enthusiasts like myself, they deserve better press.The leather strap will also last you a very long while, its thickness in comparison to other watches means it doesn't wear as quickly, and as my daily watch I would say it has lasted quite well. Because the glass is completely flat you wont see scratches even if you get any unless you look at it from a funny angle. I am 18 yrs old and would say it has lasted quite well on the wrist of a teenager.

Yep it's a design classic, but the generic case, light weight of the watch and the generic design suggest that even at 31% discount this isn't great value. I've even seen these online with the standard made in China stickers on the case back, when with Braun you'd at least expect Germany and Braun to be synonymous - disappointing.

I love the look of the watch, the style is very nice.Is VERY VERY confortable to use, nice leather quality.The only problem I found is that the time pice itself is not a high quality one, is more of the regular chines ons but in a very stylish watch... I have been using it for 1 week and i am very happy... I felt a bit cheat by the fact that the watch cost £133.00 and the quality of the time pice feel a bit more like £75.00 but i must say that the look is amazing.If you a re looking for a nice watch for every day not very expensive but looking awesome go for it. If you want the best german time pice of your life this watch is not for you.

I was looking for a minimalistic Watch and have seen the Braun series for a number of years. I’m sad to say that I returned this watch the same day it arrived. The watch itself is quite thick - more than what the pictures make to look out. The strap is also a thick, cheap-looking leather. I have had a Nava watch for a number of years and was looking for something similar.
