does not fit. does not fit over metal post
Don't buy this. The centre hole is too mall to fit over the metal pin that locates it. There is a plastic/nylon one that reuses the metal centre from your broken gear that fits perfectly. The all metal one doest fit either as the edges of the gears aren'y beveled so it binds up and won't turn. Broke within a 18 months
fit wasn't great, smaller gear stripped.

Doesn't fit well at all on 987 transmissions
2006 Porsche Boxster 987Diameter of center hole is just a little too small and the even if you drill it out the gear itself pushes too hard against the worm gear that drives it. Even a new top motor didn't have enough power to turn the transmission.

My 96 986 gears are already metal and not stripped out needed to adjust timing.
