Really tough start - AMAZING finished product
This was my first Lego lighting experience. I spent about 4 hours frustrated trying to figure out how to get the wires into the slots. After some serious YouTube and soul searching, it started to click for me and I was on an absolute roll. The trick for me was to be super gentle and take my time. Once the plugs fell into place I was able to use my nail and nap them in.The instructions were incredibly detailed but fantastic. 333 pages was daunting at first, but a lot of fun.I got much better as I went along. Some of the pieces didn’t fit back with the wires installed in my attic, but once I completed and had better practice I was able to go back and fix my work.I was so sad and almost gave up at first. SO glad I didn’t.

Looks Great!
First off, this isn't a good set for a beginner that has never installed lighting for Lego before. But, the step by step instructions are pretty good. I really like the look of this set when it's installed. Expecially the blinking lights on the tree and fireplace. Some people have reported that it is not sturdy. You just need to be careful and take your time, as the wires and connectors are small and can easily be damaged, if care isn't taken. However, the PDF online instructions address this and how to handle the parts. Some of the pictures are a little hard to understand, especually if there are a bunch of wires that are together, but it helps to enlarge it.

All that time for nothing…
Spent hours installing the light kit for the entire house not to work. Is there any troubleshooting manual?Agree with other people, terrible fit after installing the light kit.My son and I were hoping to light up a Lego village this year…not going to happen!

Time consuming but worth it
All the info and lights sent are very organized and the directions (which you look up online) are detailed photos that go step by step. It is def easier to build the entire set and then install the lights since you need to remove some bricks but knowing where they go helps. It is def tedious and takes time/patience and a steady hand but comes out great! Only wish is the door handle would light up red haha

Great customer service
I’ve never lit a Lego before , so I can’t speak to the ease or aesthetics of this set as compared to others but after hooking everything up it looks and works great! There was one piece that was not functional once everything was hooked up, and the company responded almost immediately and shipped a new piece out same day (though as it was shipped from another country it did take some time to arrive). The customer service was great and I’m pleased with the end result.

Sub Par light kit
Here of late, I’ve purchased several different light kits for my Lego sets. Several complaints I have is compared to the other manufacturers I’ve used, this one doesn’t hide the wires as good as the others, doesn't Light up all the lego lights throughout the set and the ones that they do light up, only a couple of them are done at a higher standard. The others are just putting the LED next to the light making the wires an eyesore. This was my first kit from this company and I won’t be buying another one of their kits. I rather pay the extra $10 and get a much better kit.
