Works incredibly!
It has good quality plastic, looks sick but kinda weird, fits in my hand and is waaaaay more comfortable then just the new 2DS xl, easy to pop on and off, and is pretty durable but won’t stand a high amount of pressure.

Love this grip
I love this grip. Comfortable, lightweight and also flat so you can leave your console on a flat surface without bumps. The extra pen is extremely useful. I put a picture of both for size comparison. One of the stock pen (mine is metalic) vs the one inside the grip. The stand works good too.Screen protectors are perfect. They are already applied on the pictures.I did not use the top cover. I use a silicon cover for the top.

Lightweight, very nice.
Edit - After using this for a bit to play some Mario Kart DS and Pocket Card Jockey, I'm bumping this up to 5 stars. It's much better than my old grip. I previously used this one by Fintie: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0761NZF8TThis new grip is thinner and lighter weight than my old grip, but still holds the 2DS XL firmly, is comfortable to hold, and is overall pretty great. The stylus in the grip handle is a fantastic addition, and thanks to the opening on the bottom, I have easy access to the power button. Also, My speakers are much louder and clearer now with this new grip. Not sure how, but I'm not complaining, that's awesome. My 2DS XL always sounded a bit muffled with the Fintie grip, but now it sounds great.

Best I've found
Perhaps I just got lucky with mine, but imo this is the best 2DS grip. I have the big blocky boi (which does it's job solidly, but has a fair amount of drawbacks) and the other one that looks like this (which is nice but had so many issues with dropping my 2DS/tabs breaking that I ultimately just threw it out). When I noticed that this one is actually a different design and not just a re-branding of the same grip, I decided to take the chance and I'm glad I did! Definitely has the tightest grip of all three and very comfortable. Can't say about longevity yet, suppose I'll update if something changes, but definitely the most promising so far. It definitely feels like as long as I'm not too aggressive when removing the system, it should hold up for a long time. One review mentioned slightly bending back the grip when removing to pull of the tabs and that works well. Only drawback I can think of is that it doesn't offer much protection, so if that's your main goal I'd say go with the blocky one and be careful to not break the tabs when removing, which you may be doing more often than you would with this one since it blocks the cartridge port (my blocky grip has only broken one tab in 4+ years of use and still does a capable job holding my system, so it's doable, but I also rarely removed the case since I have almost all my games as digital). However, my purpose for this was for long gaming sessions at home; I just use my hardshell case for travel which I think does a better job than any attaching case would for protecting it in my bag/etc. Overall, very happy, worth it and recommended!

Wish it was a little bigger
Overall, this grip has made playing my New Nintendo 2DS XL (Pikachu Edition) a lot more comfortable. Unfortunately, I have somewhat large hands, so it still feels a bit small to me. I'm not using the top cover because the Pikachu Edition 2DS has a curved top, but I wasn't really interested in that part anyway. The main grip feels sturdy and I've detached it once already without any issue (clips breaking, etc). It feels tight and snug. At first, I didn't think the kickstand on the back made any kind of sense, but lately I've been using it to set on the counter while I'm doing other things (sometimes I like playing the music from different games, especially retro Game Boy games, while I cook or work or do other things). The stylus feels cheap and was initially very difficult to remove from the grip but, again, this wasn't the reason I bought the thing in the first place. For now, I feel like it is going to hold up well. I just wish it was a bit bigger for added comfort.
