Before I ordered this phone case I did a lot of research into the different cases on the market. I have a brand new phone which I wanted protecting straight out the box.I chose the Tech21 case as it ticked all the boxes for me in terms of price, looks, camera bar protection and screen protection lip.I read reviews which complained about the case looking almost black rather than the light smoked case seen on product photos and this was fine with me as I actually prefer a black case. As you can see from my photo, the case is nearly completely blacked out once installed which I prefer over seeing the cross pattern on the inner of the case back.The case came with black buttons pre installed but also had changeable blue and purple ones included if you fancy switching it up. A nice little feature.The case itself is nice to hold, smooth on the back and very slightly textured on the sides. A little more texture to help with grip wouldn't come in wrong. The back of the phone case does attract finger prints and smudges which is probably the worse thing about this case.Overall, I'm extremely happy. It fits well and I feel like the phone is well protected. It's great quality and feels great to hold. Camera bar protection is on point.Keep up the good work Tech21.

This case fits the phone like a glove and doesn't add too much bulk. It gives the phone much better grip and confidence when handling it when out and about. I've used tech 21 cases for years and always find them to be top quality.

looks good , dropped my phone several time with it installed it protected it with no problems, thank for a great product..

Feels good, nice and solid and well built. Has a good grip and does look nice... Just nothing like the photos

On unpacking the case I was a little disappointed it looked flimsy and not made of the best material. I doubt if I dropped my camera it would offer the protection claimed.It fitted the camera well and is secure.My previous Tech 21 case for my Pixel 3 was more rubbery and didn't show fingerprint marks. This one does, it looks like a car mechanic has been handling it and I'm forever wiping it down to keep it looking presentable.

Firstly the case isn't the dark black colour as it looks in the photos - it's more of a dark grey.My really concern about the case it that it doesn't have a lip on the front meaning there is not real protection for the screen - the screen seems to be higher than the sides of the case.This also causes problems for screen protectors and the case pushes them up.Attracts fingerprints so badly.Case has also loosened over time and I can no longer return it.
