Lovely kit
Typical great quality and the added trench section is great. Only complaint (and I'm being an anorak here) some of the British webbing isn't correct, pretty sure they've based the haversack on an oversized PH hood bag, so it won't look spot on to purists. All said I love the kit though.

Nice detail on figures
Nothing to dislike about

Great when completed even for me a novice.
Loved making this, added some revell ww1 figures and nicely moulded. Glued MDF around and layered some air clay around base. Recommend the Vallejo European mud effect paint.

I just finished this set of figures. I didn’t build the diorama part as the figures seemed pretty good and I decided just to put them on little stands individually. I’ve attached a couple of pictures of my efforts.Negative points:The plastic used (for the figures) is very soft compared to other kits e.g. Tamiya and consequently can be difficult to clean up. There are plenty of mould lines which, together with a little flash on some parts, means scraping away at the figures with the back of a craft knife to remove. This tends to leave a slightly rough finish, the plastic crumbles a little rather than coming away cleanly. I painted the cleaned joints/flash lines with liquid cement to remove this effect so it’s not a big problem. I didn’t use any filler, which is good. The instructions are brief, they’re printed on the back of the box, and a look around the internet for built examples would be a benefit. I didn’t do this as I thought I could just wing it but I missed off the bayonet scabbards on the enlisted men and the holster on the NCO figure. Like the previous issue this is not a big thing and a minimum of research will help – wish I had done some first.Whilst the detail on these figures is generally very good some of it is very fine and seems to disappear in a certain light. In a way this is a tribute to the fine skills of the sculptor but it strained my eyes and skills with the paintbrush. Again, a look at a few finished examples might help here.Positive points:Super animation and posing of the figures. They look great, full of life and vigour; possibly ironic given the subject matter. I thought the animation was way better than most examples of plastic 1/35 and similar scale figures.Superb details on the figures and their accessories. Some of the parts are almost beyond praise, simply superb. Again, a tribute to the sculptor. There are plenty of ‘spare’ accessories for detailing any diorama or bases that might be used or for detailing up other figures. Always a good thing, especially when they are such high quality. Conclusion:Could do with some better instructions and perhaps a few more views of the finished figures. Otherwise, highly recommended set of figures, great detail and animation. Well done to A Gagarin who is listed as the sculptor.I would like to have another go at these figures, or a similar Masterbox set, to see if I could do more justice to the sculptor.

Great War figures
Going to add these to the other models recently purchased. This is first Master of models I've had. Looks great and can't wait to get started.
