Careful when screwing the to a workpiece or object
Good enough magnets depending on what you are using them for.Be very careful when screwing them to anything as it's easy for them to break if you go a little too tight.

fantastic
MAGNET Expert Ltd 10 x 2mm 1.1kg Pull N42 Countersunk Neodymium North Ring Magnets (Pack of 10)It is probably worth explaining why anyone might want these. Rare earth magnets are vastly stronger than the usual feeble magnets. These are advertised as having a pull strength of over kilo, which I can quite believe. They are the size of small buttons. With a countersunk hole, it is easy to screw these onto a piece of wood. The exposed top side has a polarity, either north or south. Both north and south will stick to ferrous metal, and will stick to each other. If you need an even greater pull strength, then you can double up the magnets. The magnets are well packed, I was a bit worried when mine arrived packed with a CD, but the CD was fine. These are strong enough to affect pacemakers, watches, etc, so they are not for children or careless handling. Full safety instructions are included. Now that I have these, I can think of a myriad of potential uses around the house, fit a mending plate to one surface and a rare earth magnet to the other and you have a firm grip. These must be one of the coolest DIY supplies ever.

Very strong for their size.
I bought these to attach to venetian blinds in my motorhome to hold them in place while driving. I've only tested them taped into place so far but the blinds were held solidly, these magnets are soooo strong! There are some end pieces which very oddly are not magnetic at all, and yet the magnets hold them securely. I think they are to prevent the magnets from 'sticking' to things they shouldn't while stored.I love that they're counter sunk as I will be screwing these to the wall so that small metal plates on the blinds attach to them.Excellent product!

Good magnets for the size and good quality.
These are great little magnets. Very strong for their size. Unfortunately they weren't usable for their intended purpose so they were returned. The finish on them is very good and being countersunk allows them to be installed in many places for many uses. The packaging was fine and there were bars at each end to hold the magnets together (the magnets themselves having be tightly packed in a small plastic bag) so care had been taken to try and make sure they arrived in one piece. I had no broken magnets but by definition, Neodymium is a very brittle rare earth material and are prone to corrosion so breakages can happen.Overall I thought they were very good for the price. Remember to slide the magnets apart rather than pull them apart which helps keep the risk of breaking them to a minimum. I also only tightened the screw very carefully until it bit so there was only light pressure on the magnet.

Good but break easily.
Arrived quickly and securely wrapped (as safety precaution to prevent magnets escaping and getting lost or swallowed by children). I ordered these because in addition to being the size I wanted, they had a screw hole so I can fix them securely into my cupboards (again, to make them safer around small children). However, only the second one I used broke as I screwed it into place - I was quite surprised at it breaking so this is why I give only 3 stars. Luckily 10 is more than I need, so assuming no more break as I put them into the cupboard doors I will have enough.

Key retrieval - result!!
We lost a keyless car “key”. We figured it had to be down a gap between an electricity cupboard and a newly fitted front door. Neither could be removed easily. We couldn’t recall how much metal was on the fob but gave it a go. We used half the magnets and threaded string through the centre and hoped for the best. Result! Within five minutes we had retrieved the key. The magnets got hold of the metal key ring on the fob and slowly we pulled up the key ring. £195 saved!!

Small, fragile and not so strong
I wouldn not class these as stong. I tried to use the whole lot ot attach a piece of board 35cm x 16cm x 1.5 to some steel. They did not work, and a few very easily cracked as I tightened the screws. I would only use use these for basic closing contact functions, but even then they are vulnerable to cracking.

Cute, Tiny, Brittle
Fundamentally, these magnets are exactly what they say they are. Little magnets with holes in them for attaching to things with screws. On the negative side they are brittle and I do not believe that one of these magnets could lift a 1.2Kg weight (although much stronger than a 'normal' magnet. If you screw them to something, be gentle - they are little and brittle and will snap given half a chance. At the same time, don't allow them to fly onto other magnetic things as the impact will snap them. I've screwed all mine to a little piece of wood to sweep the garage floor for screws and nails but I think I might need some bigger versions as these have to be virtually touching something to pull a screw onto them.
