I have wanted one of these for a long time but did not think I could justify the price. I justified buying it now because my horse started head shaking and I wanted to eliminate anything that might contribute to his problem such as pulling from hay nets. I wish I had got them sooner as MY life is so much easier. Filling these instead of hay nets is bliss! It is also so much better for the horses to eat ((sort of) off the ground and there is minimal wastage. They were easy to fix ( my husband says) . You will need to get your own fixings according to where you are going to fix them.delivery was prompt. Definitely a good buy.

Just an update in 2018. The feeder I purchased in 2016 is still in perfect condition. So pleased with it that I decided to purchase another for use in a second field shelter. Once again, very speedy service and product arrived in excellent condition and was very easy to fit. My ponies love them and it makes my life so much easier and no waste of Horsehage.Read the other reviews and decided to go for the pony size and glad I did as the Horse size would have made it much harder for him to get to the feed, so probably that size would be best for 15.2hh and above. Excellent quality and perfect height for my 14.3 Arab who is starting being fed on Horsehage this year as even soaked hay was making him cough a bit and so difficult when the weather is cold as everything just freezes. Really solid construction, very easy to fit and significantly cheaper than a competitor product. Would recommend product and seller as arrived very quickly.

Money very well spent! Arrived in 24 hours, very light weight to carry (very helpful if having to carry across a muddy field). Once installed very sturdy to the point that it holds my saddle or feed bucket. Horse loves it and holds so much hay that she never seems to run out

Great product and works well to keep the hay in one place. Not sur eid it will survive another winter with the youngsters using it to scratch on!

Well made, easy to fit and clean. Bought one for an older pony who struggles with hay nets, she finishes all her hay now she can get to it. As a result, bought one for a youngster to encourage natural feeding and to stop the uneven build up of her neck muscles caused by constantly pulling the net in one direction.

Bought these a while back. Good capacity and easy to fit. Not suitable for a horse that likes to rub on things as the plastic re-inforcement pops out of the top and feeder is then permanently bent.

Wish I got one years ago! Very easy to fit in stable, took 5 mins with a cordless drill. Easy to fill with hay, horse is very relaxed while eating from it. Much, much better than haynets. No waste and no worry about trapped legs in nets. Easy to clean, looks great. Delivered next day, perfect!
