I did not expect that this lighter would be any good, but it is EXCELLENT!!!
Ok, most of us are used to inexpensive items out of China to be cheap mass produced junk. Let me tell you that this is not the case with this lighter. Its is extremely well made and should cost three times what they are charging for it. It is thick walled brass, polished beautifully, has decent weight to it and the mechanism that seals the wick and fill ports does an effective job to keep the lighter fluid from evaporating. In fact, my first filling of the lighter lasted three weeks with use several times a day and was still going strong when I decided to add more fluid to it. My zippos are always are dry within a week, so this is a very nice surprise that this lighter does what it was designed to do. None of my zippos are as well made as this lighter. As some others have stated in their reviews, the only weakness may be the o'ring that is used to cover the wick and fill ports. I think that as long as you do not use the lighter as a candle and burn the flame for too long, they will last for years. Get this lighter, you will not regret the purchase and I never thought that I would say that about any China made product.Update: I've owned the slider for one year and one month now and use it constantly. I've never had a single issue with it and it's a wonderful lighter. In fact compared to all of the Zippos that I own it is better than any of them hands down and will keep fluid for weeks without evaporating. It's built like a tank, well made and a pleasure to use. I cannot recommend this lighter highly enough. Just by it you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful lighter with an attractive and more functional design.
The pictures attached to this are for the lighter with the Constantine "carvings" but I have indeed purchased this "bronzy" version to gift to someone. It is a really nice lighter and has some heft to it. The bottom of the lighter insert has a metal cover as you can see in one of the pictures. I saw others talking about not carrying their Zippos anymore because of how nice these are. I can see why because they also last longer. With the wick cover design implemented in the chimney and the metal, o-ring covered insert "plug" it definitely lasted longer than any Zippo I've ever carried. I smoke daily and used this lighter from Dec. 9th to Dec. 28th before having to refuel it! That's 19 days without having to refuel a Zippo "style" lighter! I filled a brass Zippo and just sat it on my office desk and it didn't last as long as this did being used daily! Once again, I gifted this particular one, but my Constantine style one has been awesome! One more thing, the lighter design having the open chimney/windguard kind of concerned me at first, but apparently it's made out of zinc and dissipates heat very rapidly. These lighters are nice and I have given up my Zippo for it too! 5 Stars!

Disappointed!
Update after needing a fuel refill:The lighter made it 4 days before needing a refill. I played with it a lot so, no surprise there. After a good 20 to 25 minutes of use I can say that I still like my main zippo (Brass Armor) just slightly better. The Zippo has a couple of advantages. The fully enclosed design of the Zippo means it won't snag anything in your pocket. This Kuboy might work best as a table lighter since the soft metal will scratch easily against keys in your pocket. Still the Kuboy is a fantastic lighter. In some ways it definitely beats a Zippo but if it's best for you depends on how you use it.Yes, 5 stars but disappointed. How? I had my hopes up too high. 5 stars because it really is a great lighter it just wasn't quite as good as I'd hoped. Maybe I got a slightly defective one.The good: The design is really great and it looks really beautiful. It also ignites every time and has a nice flame. The bad: The top, when closed is crooked. Also, the top O-ring seal with the crooked top doesn't seal well enough to block the scent of lighter fluid. Because of this, I anticipate evaporation. The O-ring looks sealed under a magnifying glass but the sniff test tells me that it is slightly leaking. My Zippo, with a little lip balm spread around where the case closes has no lighter fluid smell so I'm anticipating faster evaporation with the Kuboy. If it holds fuel better than the Zippo I'll update this but I don't think that will happen. If the top was strait and the seal was good I'd say that this would be the best lighter ever. I'll buy more of these lighters.

Very nice lighter.
I am not a smoker, though with this lighter I feel like buying a pack of Spirit.... I won't though, smoking is a bad and terrible habit.* It is much better than the pictures from seller show; even mine may not do justice to it.* Very compact* Nice weight to it. It feels good in hand and the finish is better than I had imagined/expected* Super easy to fill up* The casing is quite snugged. It requires a nice force to pull out, but it doesn't have the 'stuck' feeling.* The refill mechanism is superb; just lift a 'flap' and pour fluid in, then snap it shut.* The lift arm mechanism is also very nice. It does not open nor close flimsily (is that a word?).* When in the up/open position, you can shake the lighter and the arm won't move AT all.* It is wind proof as you can in the wind-proof design.

Quality And Performance
For the amount this lighter costs, one would not expect the level of quality of its build, its fit & finish, and its reliability that you get for your money. I've owned this lighter for over a month now, and has worked flawlessly since day one. I do not smoke, so my lighters are my fidget toys, and occasional fire starters for a gas-burner or a candle. Sadly, I have had to refill my Zippos weekly, as opposed to this lighter needing only one refill in a month. Of course you can't do all the cool trick pop openings and snap closings like with a Zippo, except for maybe the one where you pop it open, run the flint wheel, and close it on the side of your slacks. But at least you'll save on fuel. Not to mention you'll get a great light every time. It gets high marks, and a solid recommendation from me.
