(FYI I use this for mtn bikes but spent 10 years racing MX so i know a thing or three about chest protection since I always wore it) this thing was worth every penny! perfectly comfy fit, slim & super protective. the only thing I can find to say that I'm not a fan of is that It's a little on the warm side but that's to be expected with the level of protection you get from this thing. wise man once said "you can be comfy or you can be safe". it has super high chest protection (great for collar bone), perfect side protection for the ribs and shoulder pads that actually stay in place and protect you in the right area for side impacts due to the double straps on the upper arms. the shoulder pieces come apart in two pieces if you don't want the bicep protection or the shoulder pads also come completely off for just chest and back.

I chose this above the Leatt for these reasons. I ride in the south, where it's >60% humid all summer long, and >90 degF. This system has holes in the protection that acts as venturi's for cooling. This setup has good rib protection, and shoulder coverage for it's price point. It wicks sweat well, and dries fast. I am a 50yo rider who can give this kit a good review. Us older riders tend to crack ribs easier, so rib protection is a must for me.

This is a great piece to add to your collection of protective gear for the hot summer months. It has open areas under the armpits and enough protection that you feel invincible! It does seem like it would flow a lot of air and I wouldn't overheat in it. Use this along with a nice jacket for poor weather and you're set! It is very lightweight. It allows enough movement for endure style riding.

This works great. The only drawback is the strap on the lower part of your arm.

It's so comfortable,I forget I'm wearing it. It's vented and when it's hot I get plenty of air when riding. If your bigger than me it will be tight on your arms. Straps are a little small. I'm 59 yr old 5ft 7in 205 lb 15 1/2 inch arm's fits perfect but arm straps are all the way out as big as they go. My son is 5ft 10in 220lb arms a little bit bigger and it's tight on him but he wears it to. It fits me better

We tried three other brands, and the Alpinestar had the best buckles, best coverage, and lightest weight. Plus it looks the best.

It's comfortable and feels like it offers good protection.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. The first weekend it prevented him needing to go to the emergency room.

Fits great. I’m 5’9”, 180lbs, 40” chest, bought a M/L. For clothes I wear a large for all my tops. If you plan on wearing this under a jersey, then size up on the jersey. Excellent air flow. I had a rain jacket over it with the arm pit zips opened and still stayed cool.

I have a few friends with E-scooters & wear Lvl-1 grade armour & I found it quite flimsy. My E-Longboard does 40mph so wanted something *extra*!Am well impressed with this plating, it actually has a compression rebound inside the plating that actively pushes u AWAY from whatever you impacted!Am *actually* looking forward to when it *finally* gets tested! An inevitablity on "Today's Roads!
